What Led Owen Wilson To Do What He Did?

2694941819.jpg

It’s been a bizarre past week. Linday gets one day in the can, Nicole spends only 82 minutes in jail, Britney gets pulled over for speeding, Hulk Hogan’s son is involved in a near fatal car accident and Owen Wilson slits his wrists in his Santa Monica home.

Bizarre indeed. Out of the blue.

We have learned that Wilson was transfered from St. John’s hospital to the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. His brother Luke was seen arriving to the latter on Sunday night. Star Magazine and The National Enquirer exclusively broke the story, which originally was reported as an “overdose” problem but as the story unfolded, it was learned that he had slit his wrists as well, both of them.

His condition is now stable.

Even though a lot are calling it a suicide attempt, the truth is that we really don’t know. He could have been under the influence of the overdose of medication pills he had just taken, which could have rendered him uncontrollable.

Owen Wilson recently split from Kate Hudson.

The story will continue to develop during the day….

I hope he gets the help he needs. I knew someone who killed himself about four years ago, and it still hurts. I also hope he knows the devastation that would cause to his family and other people who love him.

IT’S ALL A PUBLICITY STUNT FOR ALL THE MEN IN HOLLYWOOD. OWEN IS A JOKSTER AND MOST LIKELY DID THIS BECAUSE ALL THE TABLOIDS HAVE FOCUSED ON THE YOUNG GIRLS OF BEV HILLS CELEBS AND HAVE STEERED AWAY FROM THE LEGIT MONEY MAKERS.

WHO KNOWS WHY HE DID THIS BUT IT’S NOT ONLY THE GIRLS THAT NEED HELP, THE MEN OF HOLLYWOOD ARE JUST AS VUNERABLE TO THE PRESSURES TO BE MR. PERFECT HOLLYWOOD!!!

I WISH HIM AND HIS FAMILY THE BEST AND HOPE HE GETS THE HELP HE NEEDS. EVEN MONEY CAN’T BUY HAPPINESS.

Rosie - You think Owen did this to prove a point? You think he did this because he’s a “jokster?” That is the most ridiculous comment I’ve read. Nobody would render themselves ill, or become hospitalized, in serious condition, to prove a point to the media. Seriously. Everybody should just leave Owen and his family alone. And, the media is ridiculous. They report what they think will interest people, whether it’s true or not. That is deplorable.

its called FAME, it happens to the best of everyone in this so called business. We will never know who they are and what lies within their mind, so stop pretending you know everything about everyone b/c in the end…we really dont. God Bless Owen.

this is crazy. funny how some stars look so “together” on the outside and I guess their extermely troubled within.
I think John said it best tho, no one should make assumptions in what happens in these situations or what causes their problems. We know NOTHING about these ‘celebrities’ so we should stop judging them like we do.

I am comming to the conclusion that most “artists” and celebrities are mentally ill. It’s freaky, weird and scary.

Suicide is a result of pain. People who have decided to end their life have already lost the one thing you and me and others take for granted…Hope. If you lose hope in life, it’s a sad existence. Too bad so many people think celebrities are bullet-proof and don’t feel what we feel.

Its sad to see a “hilarious” man take such a “serious” approach to handling his feelings.
You would think with all the money in Hollywood
that the actors/actresses could actually find someone
who wanted to help them and actually listen to their problems without thinking their money would solve them. Owen I am praying for you. I hope you find peace and calm during this time.

Britney tried to kill herself. Even after going through the devastation of wanting to die…women still call her slut and trash. Women still buy the enquirer and star and crap mags that insult her endlessly. So…will they care about Owen? Nah. In two weeks time they’ll be talking trash on him too. Two weeks tops. Women with their mouths and their tongues, kill people. Feminism. Pfft.

He prolly did it cause the devil-woman Kate Hudson drove him to it.

Chris Robinson was too classy for that trampy trash.
Glad to see he rid himself of her.

The Black Crowes RULE.

This is sad. Yes we are all alike, we all hurt, get stressed and all bleed red blood. Some just have more money than others. Just goes to show. Money does not and can not buy happiness. Sure it can buy you ppl in your life that r no good for u. Or ppl in your life that u think r your friends. If one is not happy without money, usually they r more miserable with it. Add all that to being known for being a “star” with no privacy to walk down the street or have a meal at a reasturant (that may not be the “hot spot to get a meal) but “paps” always following, not worth it to me. I do appreciate the entertainment they (celebs) give us, but how many of us r willing to give up our lives that will not be ours/yours anymore? Not me.

I did. It is called joining the military. It’s not my life anymore. Except I did not do this meerly for money and entertainment value.

it’s the secretive ones you have to look out for, the ones who seem like they have everything under control- generally the open books are not always as bad off as they may seem. the ones who are hidden and make everything seem fine are the ones who need a lot of help. slitting your wrists and taking tons of pills when you’ve always been the comedian is a strong statement.
