We have just gotten word that Britney Spears and Criss Angel got themselves a hotel room for the night at The W Hotel in Westwood, near UCLA last night.
The duo was spotted for the first time the night before in Beverly Hills, where rumors began circulating that Angel was assisting Britney with a rumored MTV VMA performace.
Looks like it was time for a second meet! The pair were seen leaving The W in the middle of the night but our source claims that they returned a few moments later and that they are currently inside the hotel as of 5:30 AM PT Friday morning.
They must have crashed after a night of performing exhausting magical tricks!!
They originally arrived there in two separate cars, Britney in her black Mercedes CLK and Criss in a Bentley.
Oh Britney…I sure hope the kids are with Kevin, lol.

Ok but don’t assume (like TMZ) that has anything to do with Brit. Some divorce attorney’s prefer dealing with strictly the divorce and the initial custody agreement that comes from it. When it becomes a more ongoing case, like Brits, they prefer to give it to a specific family law or lawyers who only deals with custody cases.
I know people are going to run with this, but this situation happens a lot.

I caught one of MS. Wasser’s comments the the papz as she ws walking out of the building. Either she really has gotten fed up with Britney or she’s a lousy attorney. Her answers were rude and unprofessional. She looked like a total newbie in the legal profession.
Ok here’s what bothered me: Kevin’s lawyer stood there, calm and collected and answered questions for the press…generally that’s what you want in a good lawyer. Wasser only answered questions brusquely as she walked; she made it clear that she couldn’t be bothered which is sometimes a sign that something didn’t go right that day for that lawyer. Also they asked if the kids were in danger. Her first response was, “I don’t know.” Well shouldn’t she know? That makes it seem like she has a reason to doubt and doesn’t want to make a concrete statement that could be used against her later. But she should know! And as Britney’s lawyer, if they are ok, she should have been able to say with confidence that they are Ok. Even if they are not ok, as her lawyer, it is her job to give Britney a day in court and to portray her as innocent until proven guilty…this gives people reason to wonder what the lawyer really knows and thinks about Britney.
Then after a second Wasser realized her mistake and had to amend her comment by saying that they certainly aren’t in danger from Britney.

So according to her, they aren’t in danger from Britney but she doesn’t know if they are in danger because of anyone else? Why the hell not? The divorce only took a whole year if someone else has put these children in danger, then isn’t it her job to know for sure? Just how long would it take her to figure out of the kids are safe? Even if she suspected Kevin but couldn’t prove it, why not a more professional answer such as, “We suspect there is a threat from people other than Britney and we are working on…”
The whole thing was unprofessional, so either this woman is no good at all, or else she is too tired of BRitney’s antics to be bothered talking to the press.
