Access Hollywood has the new exclusive on Britney Spears‘ new fragrance called “Believe.” Elizabeth Arden claims this photo was shot earlier this summer. Ummm, what the hell? They must seriously think we are complete morons to buy that Britney has actually looked that good in…oh I don’t know, 2 years?
A rep for EA said, “The only person in the national print ad for Britney’s Believe fragrance is Britney Spears.”

I read today that she stormed out of the photoshoot for her new perfume, so the photographer had one of his assistants stand in, and the plan was to superimpose Britney’s head over the assistant’s body.

according to page six, “her face looked amazing”. she’s 25, not 70. and she is a beautiful woman, so what’s not to believe? clearly the hair isn’t hers. she’s still lovely, just an emotional wreck right now.
In some of her recent photos, her face has looked like that of a 40 year old rather than a 25 year old. Even if we just take her well documented love for caffeine, sunbathing, sugar, and tobacco….these things are very evident in her face and is part of the reason why she looks so bad right now.
i would say that photos can catch you in very different lights- tyra banks did a whole article/show on that. and i know she adores sugar, caffeine, etc, but i don’t think it would start showing up on her face quite yet. even page six, which loathes her and does a lot of damage to her in their column wrote that she looked amazing- their words. she’s still a beautiful woman; she just needs counseling right now.
Britney walks around without make up on, and hunny, there is a big difference between one bad picture and hundreds. You must not know much about skin cancer, or caffeine if you think it can’t show in the face. Brit has been tanning since she was as young as 15. THAT’S 10 YEARS. If you don’t think that will show in your face, then why don’t you try it. But you won’t because you know better, don’t you? She does need counseling, but her bad habits are damagin her health in ways that may never be completly repairable.
i think that 25 is still young enough to get away with it. i mean, nicole richie has been tanning, smoking pot, popping pills and doing heroin and coke since she was a teenager and she is 25 and still looks pretty. i like that britney walks around without makeup on; as for bad pictures (and i am talking pretty vs. not pretty) that is subjective. some of the photos where she isn’t dressed in a flattering way can make her look kind of heavy, but you can see by her legs she isn’t. objectively, there are a ton of photos out there of her, and she just doesn’t look heavy to me. personally, i think her misery is showing.

Ummm….no. It was only a couple weeks ago that we were talking about what supposedly happened at the photo shoot. Britney’s had a tummy bump for a couple of months that makes her almost look pregnant. Her skin hasn’t looked that good in years and most recently she has wrinkles and lines that extend from her second chin all the way down her neck, I call it her turtle neck.And as for the hair, she hasn’t had blonde extensions in a very long time, and since she left the shoot in a great big hurry, I highly doubt that she took the the couple hours or so to have blonde extensions removed.
This is photoshopeed from hell. If this is her body, then they cut about half of it out, and if this is her head, it’s an archive photo. Even her album covers have been photoshopped, how dumb do they think the public is? This is obviously a last ditch effort to save sales before they dump the problem child from their accounts anyway.
This needs to be this year’s photoshop awards winner. The body isn’t hers and the face is completely airbrushed with a fake wig superimposed on her head. It’s basically her eyes and that’s about it. I’m sure they cut and pasted that onto a another blonde girl who looks similar to Britney. I’m surprised Elizabeth Arden is still putting up with her mess. They made a lot of money from her first perfume but sales have unsurprisingly gone down significantly since then. I guess they are just milking her for whatever she’s worth until the contract ends? I don’t know. Maybe this is their last attempt to fool consumers into thinking she still looks that good to buy her perfume. I’m sure this relationship will end soon enough.
…And if this perfume really is a “reflection of her soul” they should have named it “Crazy”. Then they could’ve used her actual photo looking a hot mess with her cheap wigs and fur jackets. That would have saved them a lot of time and money to put this together. And more people would probably buy it as a gag gift.
Exactly. Someone else designs the fragrance, and the celb simply puts their name on it. Therefore, a celeb endorsement for a beauty product is only as good as the desire to be like the celeb in question.

You haven’t done much research then. Perfume records have existed since before Brit waa born, her achievement is only laudible because it is recent on people’s minds. However, if you want to go there, Liz Taylor has one of the most successful perfume lines ever. Simply put, celeb lines haven’t been doing very well lately, no matter who the celb is, so for Liz’s to have been around this long is quite the accomplishment…and it’s an accomplishment that Brit will never have.

Women’s Wear Daily reported that Spears skipped four interviews with Allure writer Judith Newman. What was originally meant as a “comeback” piece set around the time of her album release was transformed, according to the Page Six source, into a “firsthand account about every time the reporter tried in vain to do the interview.”

The ad is lovely, but I buy 100% the story that a body double was used. Britney’s body hasn’t looked this good in a VERY long time, particularly in recent months when these photos were supposedly taken. Frankly, even the face doesn’t look like Britney to me. If her name wasn’t included in those bright pink letters, I’d never in a million years connect the lovely girl in the image to the mess I see in print on a daily basis. If anything, it just supports the idea that her whole early career persona/image was carefully crafted by other people. On her own . . . well, she NEVER looks this good in real life.
So not even her body…I mean, look at her hands. Doesn’t the real Brit have short, stubby fingers? All of her perfumes do smell good, though, so I’m looking forward to sniffing this one. :)

My question is why did they have to take a revealing photo of someone’s body and paste Britney’s face onto it? It’s so obvious that it isn’t her. It would’ve been more believable if they had taken photos of the real Britney lying down under blankets or a big ruffled dress to hide her body. They really could’ve made it work with the real Britney. Just put a good wig on her head, have her roll around in a blanket, sheets, feathers, clothes, or whatever, then just photoshop her face like they did here. The theme could have continued with her being in bed dreaming or in a forest or a cabin. If they didn’t show her body and arms it would have been much more believable. I guess Elizabeth Arden thinks Britney fans are really that dumb.
