Let me get this straight: The nominees for video of the year are “What Comes Around Goes Around,” “Umbrella,” and “Rehab,” not to mention that J.T. is up for male artist of the year.

Justice is a french electro group that sold millions of records this past year and that is worldwide famous for its creative and fresh new sound. They are club monsters. And the video for D.A.N.C.E is both technically and visually a masterpiece. It goes way beyond the other video nominees.

Damn, these nominations are cluttered with good artists/good songs/good videos/etc. Um….let me put out my guesses.
Video of the Year–I’m gonna say Justin will win this one. I love Amy Winehouse’s Rehab song but I doubt it wins. Umbrella was a pretty big hit. Rihanna might be Justin’s biggest competition.
Male Artist–Justin
Female Artist–Another tough category. I’ve already pointed out being a fan of Amy’s but I doubt she wins this category. I honestly think it’s gonna be between Nelly and Rihanna. I’m gonna say Rihanna though. She’s had a pretty big year.
Best New Artist–Amy Winehouse
Beyonce is getting kinda old and her latest album wasn’t as good as her first solo album. It’s definitely Rihanna’s year. It’s arguable which of the two is the most talented. I’ll go with Beyonce being the better singer but Rihanna had some huge hits and she’s younger and skinnier. Some might also say she’s much hotter than Beyonce. I think people are ready to see someone other than Beyonce as the reigning queen of R&B.
Who’s better Beyonce or Rihanna? I don’t know and don’t really care because I like them both.
The thing I do know is this is MTV. MTV awards generally go to what’s new and what’s hot. Put your money on Rihanna.

I think the only good people out of the entire nominations list are Timbaland, Nelly, Rihanna, Amy, Justice and…that’s it. Everyone else is pretty old. But Lily is ok. I also agree with the Britney comments. The Paris jokes are out and the Britney jokes are in. It’s supposed to be Vegas, not gay awards land! Come on MTV!
