Rupert Murdoch, the owner of News Corporation,which pretty much owns half of the the media you read, lol, has now also acquired Dow Jones which also makes him the owner of The Wall Street Journal.
You may have heard that Murdoch bought MySpace.com last year for almost $600 million. In 2003, he bought a 34% stake of DirectTV from General Motors for $6 billion.
