Nicole Richie has officially confirmed that she is carrying Joel Madden’s baby.
She told Diane Sawyer,
Yes, I am. We are. I’m almost four months.I didn’t believe it. It was my best friend and I, and we were at her house. And she was like, ‘You’re definitely pregnant.’
Nicole further gave us insight on her time in jail:
I have a responsibility and it’s something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would. And unfortunately I can’t, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult.

Never been a fan of hers, but I hope her words are genuine.
I really hope she is sincere, and doesn’t act a fool like a certain poptart! I think Nicole could be a good role model on how to get yourself out of the gutter! She is taking responsibility for her actions, not complaining about her sentence and blaming others. Even though she did plead not guilty the first time, I give her credit for pleading guilty now. I hope she is a good mom to her future child, and teaches him or her what NOT to do.
nicole richie is a known addict and anorexic. hopefully she can keep it together for the baby, but words have come out of her mouth before that meant nothing. she was pregnant in may and throwing a beer bash. no child is here to make the parent behave- you pull yourself together because that’s what parents DO.
