By now, you’ve probably heard that Britney Spears and Kevin Federschnitzel are officially divorced. To sum it up, he’s getting a combined total of $35,000 a month from Britney, which according to the prenup, runs out in November of this year. In regards to the custody of their children, it’s 50/50, for now. We strongly believe that the custody battle in particular ain’t over yet!Kevin Federline, ironically enough, with the support of Britney’s own family, is having his lawyer prepare a new case to present to the judge, which will prove that Britney Spears is unfit to take care of her own children, thus granting him 100% custody of the kids.
Do YOU think she’s unfit to take care of them? We only see a very limited view of her as a mother, but from what we see, it’s never been too good!
Furthermore, we hear that Kevin thinks Britney has become so “f*cked up in the head” he refuses to exchange a word with her! I personally think that she should not have any custody of the boys but only visitation rights. I think they’d be much better living between Lynne Spears and KFed. Realistically I don’t think Britney will lose custody. She might be crazy and trashy but she still has more money than the both of them and can afford the lawyers to help her keep custody. She is also KFed’s meal ticket and I don’t think he wants full custody unless it is a way to get more money from Britney. I think it might end up being 75/25 or something where KFed can have the kids more often so that Lynne can see them since Britney has cut ties with her parents and siblings. If I was the judge I would have no problem taking the kids away from her and having them live with Lynne. I’m not so sure about KFed but I think that right now he is still more sane than Britney and will take better care of the boys. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next several months.

that being said, a judge may or may not have access to additional information, but he or she will also be hearing a lot of the same stuff we do. the judge will hear damaging accounts of britney’s behavior that endangered the children, and the judge will hear the same damage-control spin stories the press gets fed (or maybe not when the risk of perjury is involved). the judge will see many of the same pics, and most likely the video of her shouting profanities with her kids in the car.

we get those facts too, they are just not presented with the same standards because we’re not in a court of law. as said so many times before, it’s a gossip site-but much of what we get here is the exact same thing the judge will decide upon.

i know you don’t believe it, but i am really not a britney fan. i like her- well, the old her, if that was who she was- but i don’t even own one of her CDs. i’m more the “great, ‘toxic’ is playing on the radio” type. and i believe that she gets a lot of crap that other celebs (sorry, especially males) get a pass on. she does a lot of wrong things, makes some seriously crappy choices, but she does get held up to a light a lot of others don’t.
that said, i do believe that she has some kind of chemical imbalance. i’ve thought so since she married that childhood friend to “see what being married is like”. she doesn’t seem to distinguish right from wrong; doesn’t care about her appearance; makes choices that make no sense to anyone but her… well, you know all of this. i think she could get better with the right diagnosis and the right medication and CONSISTENCY, but i don’t know that it will happen any time soon.

I have to admit that I am a stickler for spelling and grammar on this site, but I hold off on Ruben and Carolina. This is their third, fourth or fifth language that they speak fluently. Honestly, I believe that Kevin should get the kids 60-75 percent of the time. Not because I think that Britney is a bad mom…its just because Kevin is a safer “ride” than Britney. NO one mobs Kevin whereever he goes…and too many times Britney’s kids have been endangered by Paparazzi, and mob scenes that she cannot avoid entirely no matter how much she tries.
I think Britney is an excellent mom. Her kids are always clean, happy, and carefree….no matter how much of a chaotic mess her life may or maynot be, her kids do not know a bit of it…as long as she provides and takes care of her children properly then I think she should not loose custody.

Who knows what Reese, Angelina, or Jennifer are like in real life, but at least they don’t put their kids in harms way. They may get snapped by the photogs with a telephoto lens, but they do so when innocently playing with their kids, not carrying them around like luggage, or putting them in your car SO YOU CAN DO NOTHING MORE THAN GO TO STARBUCKS, or carry them with you through a mass of paparazzi WHEN YOU KNOW THE PAPS ARE GOING TO BE THERE, AND YOU KNOW WHAT THEY’LL DO, AND HOW THEY’LL ACT, and whether they act right or wrong doesn’t matter as much AS THE MOTHER WHO WOULD PUT HER CHILDREN IN THAT PREDICAMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I’m obviously an outspoken critic of Britney’s, too say the least. But if she consistently acted in way that promoted the best interests of her children rather than her career, or if the volume of press stories suggested the same, I would recognize it and admit it. But she hasn’t acted that way, and when she does try to spend time with her kids, she never gets it right, like going on a boat and not putting life preservers on them, screaming profanities with them in the car, or taking them with her just so she can go to Starbucks. She only wanted to have kids, and Britney gets what she wants, but she has no idea how to raise them or what is truly best for them.
