Nicole Richie will spend a WHOLE 4 days in the City or County Jail (she gets to pick) before September 28th. This is the torture she will endure for her 2nd DUI.
TMZ also states that after being fined $2,048, she was sent to school for an alcohol education course and is now on a three years probation. The baby will be due in January.
A source close to Richie in the courtroom said she was “stoic and serious, but not emotional.”

I like Nicole and all that but I honestly don’t think 4 days in the slammer is that much of a punishment. It’s a slap on the wrist imo. I’m not saying Nicole should go to jail for the rest of her life or something like that. I was hoping she’d get a legitimate sentence and actually learn some lessons from it. And maybe I’m wrong. Maybe she’ll use this sentence and learn from it. I hope so. I hope all the bad girls of Hollywood take their situations they’re currently in and will learn from them.
One by one the so called it girls are being taught that they are not above the law. She will serve four days, and now she has a record, at least that’s something. If she doesn’t straighten her life out, they won’t be so lenient next time.

this is a slap on the wrist. she should be spending time like paris or more. come on, her 2nd DUI. next time she might kill someone like Brandy did by being negligent. hopefully her pregnancy will make her grow up and be a responsible adult.
Of the four - Paris, Nicole, Lindsay and Britney - I have a feeling that Nicole will be the one who will truly try to change herself for the better.
Don’t know about Paris (hopefully Nicole’s change will become a good influence on her), but I don’t feel so hopeful for Lindsay and Britney.
