We are just hearing the news that David and Victoria Beckham went to dinner at Mastro’s, an upscale steak house on Canon Dr. in Beverly Hills on Wednesday night. They arrived there a little bit after 9 pm, our source tells us.
Waiting for their exit, which happened through the back of the restaurant, a mob of about 35 paparazzi were in position to get the money shot. Unfortunately, Beckham’s security made a move nobody expected, by moving several cars around in the back creating a shield which wouldn’t allow any photographer to snap a shot unless they were 9 feet tall.
When the “mob” realized this, they began to scream obscenities at the couple on their way out. There were loud boos and heavy insults thrown at them, our source adds. “Go back to England you motherf*cker“ “Nobody cares about soccer here” “Your wife has no talent” among other things.
“This led David, who was in the driver’s seat, to aggresively accelerate his Escalade and at one point and a paparazzo was almost hit” our source explains.
Guess the family oriented couple absolutely hate the papz, especially David! What he doesn’t realize, or who knows, maybe he does, is that if they don’t give them what they want, they’ll figure out a way to get it anyway, and that’s when things start to get nasty!

Well that was bound to happen, sooner or later.
Hey, if David wanted to kill some paparazzi he should have had Posh put her super-boobs out the window as they drove off….SHE COULD PUT AN EYE OUT WITH THOSE THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or, here’s a thought: why not just leave them (and other celebrities, for that matter) the fuck alone? Stalking is illegal in all 50 states, yes?
Well said. I was going to say the same thing!
Why isn’t anything ever done about the paparazzi in America? They are absolutely ridiculous, they near as dammit take away these people’s freedom… I don’t understand how the authorities stand by and let this happen, maybe when an *american sweetheart* is killed by one of them (like Diana)… then some action might be taken…
I completely agree.
simple…..ITS CALLED SUPPLY AND DEMAND
Perhaps in part because the paparazzi aren’t really the problem here; the real problem is all the bedazzled sheeple and kool-aid drinkers who buy the magazines and tabloids or watch the TV shows that are fueled by this material.Yes, the photogs are often rude or out of control, but they’re also just a symptom of a celebrity-drunk cultural smokescreen that is itself sick and devoid of any purpose beyond keeping the masses enslaved. If we could get ourselves to stop buying the magazines and stop watching the televised crap, this would all simmer down or even go away. There might be more real news on TV then, and the Beckhams could eat in peace.
So then i guess your suppose to give awholes what they want because they’ll just be even more of a wholes if you don’t ? Its called doing what you believe is right ,it doesn’t matter what others do . If the paps get nasty let them. There nasty anyway shape or form.
soccer is awesome. soccer is a tougher sport

Boy, could you be more prejudiced?
First of all, Princess Diana was killed in a car accident in Paris; not America. So, where did you get the unwarranted notion that a member of the American paparazzi killed her? In fact, several members of the French paparazzi were investigated on manslaughter charges and, later, charged (though not convicted) of invasion of privacy for shooting photos of her and Dodi Al Fayed that night before the fatal accident.
Secondly, how is the American paparazzi any worse than that of other countries? Ask Angelina Jolie or Justin Timberlake; I’m certain they could set you straight about the European paparazzi. Or, perhaps, you might discuss the German paparazzi with Princess Caroline of Monaco, who won a lawsuit against German tabloids at the European Court of Human Rights just three years ago.
Finally, where do you think the word “paparazzi” originates? The term, which stems from an Italian word meaning “buzzing insect,” was introduced into the English language in the late 60s. Its origin has been connected to the Italian director Federico Fellini, whose celebrity photographer character in his 1960 film “La Dolce Vita” was named Signor Paparazzo.
Moreover, since the Diana/Dodi incident, many European paparazzi have relocated to America, bringing their aggressive style with them and serving as models for the American paparazzi.
Sure, the American paparazzi are horrendous; as are most paparazzi (as the term itself implies). But, paparazzi are paparazzi, regardless of which country they call home.
She never implied that it was American paparazzi that killed Diana. I think she’s right… until something like that happens on American soil, nothing’s going to be done.
if there was no paparazzi, there will be no photos in the tabloid magazines except for those from a photo shoot.
they are celebrities, and there is a price to fame and fortune, and that is their privacy. as celebrities they should know that they will have almost zero privacy
That doesn’t mean they should have to put up with being stalked 24/7 no matter what they do. There’s a time and a place for photo ops.
I saw a show on tv about the paps, and anyone with a camera can do this “job”. Shouldn’t they have press passes, and be legal, so accidents and stalking doesn’t happen? I think the Govenator, good old Arnold, should do something about them. How is it fait that all David and Victoria wanted was to go to dinner, in peace. But instead, they are harrased and called names because the physco paps can’t get their picture. Such bull shit.
It seems like now celebrities have an obligation to put their private lives available to paparazzis (in the end, to us, magazine/blogs/news readers) It is unfortunate that there are no regulations to control this kind of behavour, which I find offensive. I wonder: How would paparazzis feel like if suddenly celebrities hire salkers to follow every single move they make? Not so funny when the joke is on you, huh…But sadly, in the end they take the pictures because there are people who like to see them, so the media pays them money for these pictures so they can get higher ratings/circulation by publish them. So…there is something for us to think about too. What would happen if suddenly there was no demand for these type of pics? Would it make a difference? I think so. But unfortunately, it is just wishful thinking.
