OK! Magazine has decided to show what really went down on the day of Britney’s photshoot and interview.
The magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Sarah Ivens told TMZ,
OK! Magazine spent a heartbreaking day with Britney Spears and witnessed first-hand an emotional cry for help that will leave you shocked and sad. This week, on newsstands Friday, the truth will be told.
TMZ had previously reported on Britney’s “complete and total meltdown during the interview and photo shoot.” OK! had two options:
A.) Run the disastrous photos and potentially ruin Brit’s career as well as their relationship with her.
B.) Publish a false and censored article.
Let’s just say they bubbled in letter A.

I don’t think OK! magazine would risk their reputation as well as risk being sued if what happened wasn’t true. OK! is a credible magazine in the UK, they’re the equivalent of People magazine in the US. They’re not Time or The Wall Street Journal, but celebrities trust them. Anyway, Britney is a complete mess & needs helps, she also needs her kids taken away from her. This magazine will prove it, and then people like yourself can no longer make excuses for her behavior.

IF the rumors of her complete and total mental break down are true - for you and the millions of other blogs out there to be treating it so cavalierly sucks. She is a person. The mentally ill should not be terrorized and made into a sideshow for entertainment purposes. As someone who has a close family member that is bi-polar I know how devastating this disease can be. It tears apart families (as does addiction). You really should sit back and examine your priorities. Yeah, I know someone…Britney critics are instantly labeled as haters when most of them don’t hate her personally, they just think she’s a bad mother or they can’t believe how the “fans” defend her for her every action, when her actions are so incredibly transparent to everyone else. I don’t like her music, but I don’t think I’ve EVER, EVER criticized anyone for that. If her music alone makes them happy, great, more power to ‘em. But to always defend her, never hold her accountable and always blame others, refuse the obvious in favor of their ideas or the past, and to do so when it enables Britney to create real harm and long term damage to herself, her family, HER CHILDREN, and now her dog, well, that’s just wrong!
I always thought Britney had weak impulse control, anxiety and depression, but this speaks of a true chemical imbalance. Lack of interest in appearance, poor personal choices, inablity to distinguish right from wrong- she seems to need serious help and the right diagnosis. Hopefully, the boys will be well taken care of while she gets better. I don’t see how Alli could be around her, beaming while photographs were taken and then run to Kevin- enough publicity for her website? At any rate, Britney’s actions speak of someone truly manic depressive or bipolar- they also suffer from paranoia. And none of it is even close to funny. She isn’t a trainwreck so much as a woman who needs to be properly diagnosed, set on the right medication and counseling. Hope she gets it and that people give her some space.

I am deeply saddened. I’ve checked OK’s site several times, and the only mention of Britney is a few words scroll at the bottom “…plus Britneys family betrayal” thats it. I’d think if she really went all loco, they’d at least hint at it “shocking Britney interview” or something, right?
Its becomeing harder and harder to DEFEND Britney when people keep saying things, even if they ARENT true…it takes too much energy to eloquently express my defense, when Im literally grasping at words. Just two days ago TMZ accused Britney of driving with Sean in her lap again — they even had VIDEO of the situation unfolding — AND THAT STILL DIDNT EVEN TURN OUT TO BE TRUE !
I don’t think this will be the scathing article TMZ and others are making it out to be. I just don’t think a credible mag would put someone’s career in jepordy to sell some mags, but maybe they would. Who knows! But i just don’t think it will throw her under the bus. Why bite the hand that feeds you? I hope for Brit’s sake, it is a article that tells the truth, and shuts some people up.

i think they are actually talking about the info she gave them. i think she is telling about her meltdown, not an actual meltdown during the shoot.
