Lindsay Lohan’s attorney, Blair Berk, just issued the following statement:
“Addiction is a terrible and vicious disease. Since Lindsay transitioned to outpatient care, she has been monitored on a SCRAM bracelet and tested daily in order to support her sobriety. Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies. Unfortunately, late yesterday I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care.”

Everything seemed to be going well for Lindsay, what happened? This just comes to show that no matter how you might have everything you ever wanted in your life such as fame, money and hollywood status, there is that one thing that you’ll never be able to escape from: having a fucked up family. I can’t blame Lindsay for relapsing when the very foundation that is her as a person keeps getting shattered by stress and problems stemming directly from her mom, or dad.

So Lindsay goes nuts, and it’s because of her horrible family. Britney goes nuts, and it’s because she herself is a horrible person? You’re an asshole.
Well up until the time her parents got divorced, Britney claimed to have come from the happiest of homes. And up until a few months ago, she claimed to have had the perfect relationship with her mother, and she has never admitted the true reason why she hates her father. It’s funny that you expect people to feel bad for Britney’s horrible up bringing when Britney has never been completly hoest about what happened.
You seem to be putting lots of stuff that other REALLY famous (wether we like it or not) blogger with peculiar hair colors and consistent fat in his funny body, is posting on his web-site.
Come on! We want original stuff!!
this is celebrity news…it is going to be on every news related website out there…get over it
It is NOT her family that does this to her. It is herself, and herself only. I have struggled with addiction, and it is something very hard to deal with. If she wanted to be sober, she would have stayed sober! It is her choice, and her choice only. I don’t thing anyone can help her, only herself. I don’t feel bad in any way for her. The SCRAM was a shaft, and it was only for her to get more attention, that is it. She knew she wouldn’t stay sober, she loves it to much. I just don’t think there is any hope for Lindsay.
She is a white trash crackie who needs to go away. Anybody with half of a brain and is not caught up in the Hollywood bullshit could care less. Next time crash into a wall stupid bitch.
Geez pls stop Lindsay. I am really unhappy about Lindsay. She used to be my favourite actress. I loved Freaky Friday and Mean girls and Just my luck I saw them like 4 times! But now she’s become this…….. Why?!! I hate seeing her like this. I used to love her so much I still do but I am mad at her doing this.
That’s way too harsh. Yes, she comes from a dysfunctional family, but by the time you’re 18, you have a choice to shake them off and go forward, or let them sink you. I wish Lindsay had a) parents who weren’t as screwed up as she is b) friends who weren’t as screwed up as she is c) a strong management team looking out for her career and her best interests and d) some common sense. The first she can’t control; the next three, she can.
Think about the girls who have gone from child/teen actress to live sensible lives. Jodie Foster, Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Julia Stiles — they all managed to emerge as well-rounded human beings. It is not impossible, nor could it have been for Lindsay.
I agree with you, Brenda! Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Brenda said it very well! Yes, Lindsay’s family is extremely dysfunctional, she was a child actress, not real well-educated and also probably even aside from the dysfunction, maybe just wasn’t brought up very well. (Just change “actress” to “singer” and you’ve got Brittany.)I don’t know how dysfunctional the families of Paris and Nicole were (are) but I know that Nicole at least had a rough beginning and that from the comments and actions of Kathy and Rick Hilton of late, well, hmmm…
Some things you can’t help, but there are plenty of people who have come from far worse who haven’t done the things these girls are doing. There are also plenty of child actors (add Brooke Shields, Natalie Portman, Amanda Bynes, Fred Savage, Daniel Ratcliffe, Emma Watson and many others to Brenda’s list)who haven’t chosen the same paths. Being a little wild sexually and some occasional minor underage drinking are things that many of us did when we were young, but we didn’t act out like this; drugs, drunk driving, being a dreadful parent (Brittany), etc. are really past the pale. I would have thought that Lindsay would have learned at least a little from Paris’s unfortunate experiences, but apparently not. And I’m actually just as concerned about Brittany and her stability–is it going to take one of these girls getting killed or seriously injured (or Brittany’s poor children getting injured or killed) for people to come to their senses? Their parents can only do so much now that these girls are “adults.” We can blame some of their problems on how they were raised, but I don’t like to really do that in general. Siblings can be raised the same way by the same parents and turn out very differently, due to personality, personal choices and their unique experiences. But *someone* has got to take control and try to help these girls–interventions are hard and not always successful, but you can’t give up.
you have control over how you act.. you don’t have control over your family
The only thing Lindsay has going for her is an attorney who won’t let people forget that she has an addiction.
