At 2:15AM last night, Lindsay Lohan was caught driving under the influence by an L.A. County Sheriff on Pico Boulevard and Main Street in Santa Monica early Tuesday morning. TMZ also states that her blood alcohol level was between .12 and .13, way over the .08 legal limit. Not only that, she was also busted for:
-Cocaine possession in her pocket
-Driving under the influence
-Transporting a narcotic into a custodial facility
-Driving on a suspended license
Although cooperative while in jail, Lindsay was reportedly very upset and refused to submit to a PASD (Preliminary Alcohol Screening Device), a chemical test that determines blood alcohol levels. When cops did a walk-the-line test, Lindsay failed.
Her bail was posted at $25,000 and she’s already been released but if convicted, she will definitely serve time. This will be her 2nd DUI in less than 3 months.
And remember that nice ankle bracelet she’s been wearing? Well, when TMZ contacted a rep from the company, the person who monitors is said, “I didn’t even know she was arrested.” Makes you wonder what the hell was the point of all that…just another circus?
Lindsay was scheduled to appear on “The Tonight Show” this evening but due to her right to remain silent, it is uncertain whether or not she will go.
