It’s like, they think they’re the shit cause they have a piece. They show it to their homies because YO YO, it’s HOT an SMOKIN’. But why are they walking around with an illegal gun? To shoot at someone in case they get shot at? I thought they left the hood a while back? $$$?

Why don’t they just get a damn permit to carry if they want to own guns? I guess maybe they both have prior records? I just don’t get it. They do think they are above the law, but not anymore! But I bet they will both get off easy though too.

I don’t know if they have records or not, but permits come with a long list of requirements. Depending on the state, they can’t carry the weapon into places like clubs or anywhere serving alcohol, banks, or schools. Its probably too much for a “celebrity” to stay aware of, plus, these guys don’t strike me as the type who would be concerned with doing everything according to law. And it’s a shame, because firearm proficiency is a skill acquired through discipline and a ton of practice-that bang bang the bad guy falls down stuff you see on TV all the time doesn’t happen like that in real life. Even if they were acting in self defense, it would be easy for a person not properly trained to kill an innocent bystander.

I don’t know about ja rule, but I think lil wayne may actually be somewhat of an actual gang banger. Definitely stupid though, especially when they don’t need to be doing that kind of stuff. Its sad. The reason to become rich and famous for many young black people is so that they DO NOT have to live and be involved with voilence, etc — that so permeates ‘the hood’ — as its not a child’s fault for being born poor and in a bad neighboorhood. As a young black male, there are a multitude of paths that i could have went down growing up in ‘the hood’ but thankfully my upbringing was different from the rest of the people around me…my mother actually had some sense, and made sure I never went down that road.
