Britney fans are going to love this update! We are the only website that is able to bring you an inside look at the different sets used in Britney Spears’ new music video “Get Back” which was shot over a period of about 14-16 hours in a warehouse on 6th street in downtown Los Angeles last night.
Our insider told us that the music video is unlike anything Britney Spears has done before, pointing out that the video has a very eclectic feel to it with a lot of vintage elements. In one of the sets, there’s a drawing of Elvis on the wall and a little bit further down is one of Britney. There is also a night club set.
Our insider says:
“Not many people know how long this music video has been in pre-production. The entire concept behind the music video, which I cannot talk about was entirely Britney’s idea, and this is the first time that she has been involved in it as early as the story board process, all the way to the production design and the casting as well. The only thing I can say is that this video is about “rebirth”. She also did all the choreography for it. This is her baby and is excited for all her fans to see it when it airs. She has been working extremely hard even though many fail to give her credit for it.”
When we asked how the shooting went in general, our insider said:
“A couple of extras were giving the crew attitude on set, since they were asked to work pro-bono (for free), but apart from that and a few glitches, we were able to finish the video on time.”
Oh my my……man I hope this one doesn’t tank….I don’t know how many lives Brit has got left in her arsenal. Let’s uh….hope for the best ;)

That’s what you said when she was filming Do Something and Mona Lisa. Don’t catch your chickens before they hatch, Britney has laid some really stinky rotten eggs, especially when it has been something that she herself has produced.
Too bad she never filmed a video for Mona Lisa, and Too bad she wasn’t trying to make a comeback with Do Something.
I don’t doubt Britney’s talent. I think she definitely has what it takes to revive her career as far as talent goes… the girl knows what she’s doing, I mean hello! You don’t reach the levels she has in her career without it. BUT, I don’t know if she is stable enough to handle this, and her public image is so terrible! A couple of months ago, after she got out of rehab, everyone was rooting for her. People wanted to see her succeed. If she would have made amends with her family and spent that time working out, getting back into top shape, and laying low WITH her children, most people would be on her side right now. She should have totally revamped her image and gone for a really elegant look. Instead, she opted for the slutty-trashy route. Why? She needs to show people that she has changed and she means business. It’s not too late though, she still has a couple of months to clean up her image. Seriously, if she started looking good again and went for a new elegant style, that alone would gain her acceptance. She also needs to realize that maybe she can do everything her way and all by herself, but it might not be the best way and having help doesn’t mean you’re a bad artist. I can understand why she’s doing it this way though, she probably wants to break that image of being a product of good marketing. Well, I’m keeping my fingers crossed, I would love for her to come back with a vengeance!

I think she got as far as she was at because of her handlers. They kept her in line. Now they’re out of the picture and she’s like a tornado twirling in all directions and hitting everything in sight. Maybe that’s not the best comparison in the world but I’m sticking with it. Yeah, she had catchy tunes and she was a hot chick. But overall I think the handlers were the most important people in the puzzle. jmo
Yeah, I would’ve been on her side. I had been a Britney fan since day 1 and I had been looking forward to her comeback. I was sympathetic in the beginning. And then things kept getting stranger and stranger. More depressing and annoying with each passing Britney drama caused by her own poor choices. My expectations dropped lower and lower and my disgust and annoyance grew higher and higher. If only she had seeked help the second she realized she had a problem or any problems in her life. If only she had done this or hadn’t done that. It’s just a huge list of “ifs” like that. And nothing’s paying off.
I understand that the Britney of 2007 isn’t the girl that came out with Baby One More Time. She’s not the same woman as the girl that came out with Oops…I Did it Again or any of the other stages of her lifetime. I avoided putting Britney into a box. I didn’t want her to remain stuck in the same timeframe for the rest of her career. People change and they grow up. In Britney’s case, I feel she didn’t grow up. She’s at a point in her life where she needs to. But she’s choosing not to. She’s regressing into a 15 year old girl again instead of being a mature 25 year old woman. Britney can still be sexy and dress up in sexy clothes and all. But she needs to realize it’s time to update the costumes a bit because it looks silly for a 25 year old to be masquerading (sp?) as the girl from the past. Maybe 16 year old Britney could get away with costumes like the outfit from her new video. Maybe everybody would be falling all over themselves and posting how hot the outfit looks on her. Maybe they wouldn’t. I’m not sure. I just know that her body has changed and these outfits no longer flatter her figure. They make her look extremely skanky and hooker-ish. And don’t get me wrong, yall. I’m not calling her a fatass or a whale. I’m just saying her body has changed and I wish she would wear outfits that flattered her new figure. I still say she needs to take some time for herself and some time with her sons. Get to know them and get to know herself again because I honestly don’t think she knows herself anymore. I bet she looks in the mirror and she sees a total stranger looking back at her.
If a woman knows how to dress (and money has nothing to do with it, although it helps, and Britney has no excuse in this department), if a woman knows how to dress and how to carry herself, then her weight would be the last thing you’d ever notice abut her.

She made a video for Mona Lisa, but it was never released, except maybe with her reality show. I remember seeing it. Do Something featured Britney writhing around in underwear and her vocals were a cheap immitation of Gwen Stefani. Her “choreography” was again, less impressive than a high school cheerleader routine, and every time Britney has a new song, then fans talk about it being a new era for Britney. And don’t forget that Britney fought so hard to with Jive to get that song released that she even leaked it to a radio station, before the gave her approval. And that, me dearies was how I knew that last week’s rumor about a new single debuting on a lone radio could only be 1) a hoax or b) Britney feuding once again with Jive.
actually they didnt debut it because it may have had the fword in it. i heard their audio clip and i guess jive didnt want them to play yet also. if its got that word they have to wait to get an edited one. and no their never was a mona lisa video i have chaotic on dvd they only released the song on cd format. i swear to God ur a fan because u know a lot about her to dislike her. maybe one day youll like her again. i hope =)

Because people act like Britney has affected the music industry much more than she actually has. Because people act like she’s everything that every woman should be. because she refuses to go away, and live her life when she is not performing. She insists upon cramming her personal life down the throats of the public, and so do her fans. Her fans put her on a pedastol that she does not deserve, then shower her with accomplishments that she has never achieved and could never achieve what she has achieved without the help of a plastic surgeon, someone to comb her hair and dress her, someone to write her music and lyrics, and choreograph her dances. She was an accident. Had she not been there, then some other girl would have been. Now that Britney is on her own, it is clear that she has no talent, short of exposing her flesh to keep her name relevant. Without someone pulling her strings, she is little more than white trash.

It’s abvious that TOB did not work out the way you wanted it to be. That’s fine. It’s really hard these days to prove yourself with a blog because there are already too many blogs.
But talking trash about Britney and making up bad jokes such as an interview with her son first, and then posting positive Britney news is not the way you should handle the things. You really have to stick at one opinion and your opinion can only change if you have good arguments.

I agree with OCgirl! Words OUT of my mouth. I don’t understand WHY! when she got out of rehab she didn’t just stay home, play with the kids and go to the dance studio. WHY did she go RIGHT BACK TO THE CLUB SCENE?? Wearing see-through clothes and taking off her top. I mean, I remember when she announced the divorce. SHE LOOKED SOOOOO GOOD for about 5 days. I think in the beginning of the partying drama (pre-rehab) that was a big “fuck you” to Kevin. Screw you, Kevin. And then things started to twist. Britney didn’t want to get back with Kevin but she realized that she was a single mother to two children. I bet when she met Kevin she thought that relationship would last forever. She thought of the point she was at in her life and I’m sure she was disappointed in herself. 25 years old and she’s been married and divorced twice and has two kids. Not exactly the place she probably pictured herself when she was a little girl. She partied and did whatever in order to try and forget the shambles she had made of her life.
That’s my theory, yall. I doubt we’ll ever know what was really going through her mind in the beginning of all this drama.

There is no doubt that this girl is talented, perhaps the most talented among her peers, and hopefully, this will be the beginning of great things to come. Her music, like Everytime, Toxic and Slave has helped shape contemporary music more than anything out there. Go Britney !

Toxic won a grammy that Britney has never touched, never been photographed with, and is too embarassed to speak about because the writers obviously did not like what she did with their song. Not to mention that the category that the song won did not require the music to have lyrics or vocals, and as such, Britney must at best share the honor, and at worst be seen as superflous. That’s nothing to brag about.
Everytime was a song that Britney quit singing the second she wrapped her legs around Kevin and is probably too angry at Justin to ever sing again.
She has only won a few awards for a few songs compared to much bigger recording artists, so pardon us if we scoff at the few itsy bitsy awards she’s won. While other artists have enough hits to fill double albums with, Btieny had to release on album of “greatest hits” twice in a row. Once in original format, and once as a remix…neither of which sold very well. And not to mention that the bulk of her music and lyrics were written by other people, and as such, the bulk of any honors won really belong to them and not to Britney.
But you didn’t mention all her songs, you only mention three songs, and not even the best examples for the little bit that she has done to affect the music industry. She won’t be the youngest artist forever if Billy Ray’s daughter keeps up her streak, and compared to all the other records set by the major music artists out there, Britney’s calim to fame is a small and insignificant feat. All it takes it one talented female, and America is filled with them, and a another record company to push the money behind her. The money they once pushed behind Britney, but now are reluctant to put out there.
100-150 million albums is small compared to many other artists. It’s ridiculous that many of you fans try to make it sound like that’s a big feat and makes Britney the greatest, when many other artists have sold than and much, much more. Not to mention, that most of that was from her first album, and simce then her sails have declined, and she’s not doing much to win back any old fans, or win the respect of non fans. In the grand scheme of music history, Britney is a passing fad. Her paltry accomplishments will continue to look smaller, and smaller as more artists with genuine talent hit the scene. You don’t have to take my word for this, most people feel this way, and Britney proves me correct each and every day that she has to resort to childish antics to get her name in the paper. Hate me all you want, but last year you would have thought it impossible for her to end up in rehab. Hell, I don’t like here and I still couldn’t have predicted how low this girl is falling.
Actually her music didn’t change the industry that much. It ebbs and flows. Female teen idols have come and gone. Nothing new there. And yet, not a single one of them ever exposed their vagina to a sea of papz, if anything Britney is a new low. They were looking for a female pop singer. Had Britney not been there, it would have been someone else. And you see, now pop is declining, and Brintey’s had to try to conform to the changing taste. The problem is that Britney doesn’t have a voice for R&B music without electronics, and even then she sounds either drugged or like a cartoon character. And believe me, no one wants to her spolied, pmapered white girl bitch about her mommy, and the jerk that everyone warned her not to marry.
