Usmagazine.com confirms that Spears, 25, is shooting a new music video in an L.A. warehouse today. The video is her first in two years and is reportedly for her new single, “Get Back.”
The singer’s increasingly erratic behavior in recent weeks, as well as her on-going battle with her mother, has raised eyebrows among fans and critics.
Perhaps her new video is a sign that Spears will go back to being famous for her music—not her “Toxic” behavior.

Say what you want but up until 8 months ago, she was the top selling artist of the Decade. Now she’s number two (next to Madonna) because she hasn’t released anything in so long.

I don’t think it’s gonna be a cover. Here’s my guess as to what the video and song will be about. I imagine Britney will have a few shots where she’s dressed up in some of her old memorable outfits and the old Britney will be in a casket because old Britney is dead and gone to her. New Britney is taking over and paying her last respects to old/dead Britney. The song will be about people judging her or jumping on her back and she’s sick of hearing about it. She’s young and she’s gonna make “mistakes”. She wants to live her life to her terms. Nobody elses. Don’t judge me cause you don’t know me. Everybody get off my back. That’s my guess anyway. Anybody else have a theory they want to share?
Yes, more images of Britney supposedly dying and being reborn. She did that in Everytime and in Mona Lisa. She can put all the symbolism she wants into her videos, but remember that actions speak louder than words. She hasn’t changed, just just puts on airs about how she’s going to change. It’s really quite sad to see all this self hatred go unchecked for so long.
Actions speaking louder than words–I agree with you 100% there. And the sad thing is the fans–(some of them anyway) keep falling for it. I’m not slamming the fans there. When you like somebody you want to believe what they’re saying. She said months ago that she got a little wild and she knew what she had to do in order to get everything back on track. It was a perfect “cover my ass” statement but so far none of her actions prove or back up what she was saying.
I love Britney but i’m uber nervous (as the germans would say). I hope it goes really well, and anywayd, it could jut be a commercial, it could be anything. I hope it’s a new single though. Anyway we’ll have to wait at least a month for this video to come out anyway.

Britney looks great. Judging by the all-black I’d say that “get back” is definately not a light-hearted song, though. She looks like La Femme la Britney or something. I wouldnt be shocked if she wielded a gun in the new vid. *laughs*

I admire your spirit. I know that sounded corny but I felt the need to say it. I hope that one day she’ll prove me wrong and I can gain back the enthusiasm I had towards her new music. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the single whenever it comes out.

The title “Get Back” sounds like it could mean that she wants other people to ‘get back’ and leave her alone; let her live her life the way she wants to live it.

She still looks like crap, I can totally see how the magic of television is going to work in her favor though. She looks sloppy, but through tv, you are going to see her in tip-top form and way better looking than in person. Like that X-tina video “Dirty” or whatever…in the making of the video that aired on tv, she had a gut, and in the music video itself, she was super skinny.
