She’s beautiful… and apparently the only member of that family who isn’t insane.
Lynne sold her daughter out to fame at a very young age, to the point that Britney is now incapable of being a good person or mother, because all she knows is how to be one type of star, a star she no longer is anymore, and she never learned the other lessons in life because she was too busy “entertaining” and making money. Britney sold her soul, metaphorically speaking…Neither one is insane, but the situation is incredibly tragic, especially now that Britney has two kids. The question is, how has this affected Jamie-Lynn, and will she pay the same price for fame?

The other thing is: THIS IS WHAT BRITNEY LOOKED LIKE WHEN SHE WAS YOUNG AND WASN’T CLUBBING ALL THE TIME OR SMOKING A PACK A DAY. Seeing Jamie Lynn makes you realize just how old Britney is looking after just a few years! Especially lately!
K, I’ve got something to add to the bottom part of your post, Mike. Okay, I don’t mean to step on any toes here. I’m not talking about this site or anybody on this site. Anyway, it always shocks the hell out of me when I stumble across some Britney pictures of her looking like hell and people are still pissing themselves over her and saying she looks hot, she’s wearing a cute outfit, etc. And I often sit back and wonder if they’re looking at the same pictures I’m looking at. Anyway, I do agree with your bottom statement, Mike.

And jenn, if you’re reading this, I’m sorry for really ripping on you the other day. But honestly, I don’t know diddly about Travis Barker, I’ve never seen a single episode of Baywatch, and I haven’t followed Mel that closely as well, but it’s hard to escape Britney. Anyway, my apologies-you didn’t deserve it and I was out of line in a couple of ways.

It sounds like we’re in the same boat about not knowing much about Travis, Mel, Pamela and everybody else that Jenn pointed out.

In my opinion, she’s prettier than Britney ever was… not that Britney ISN’T pretty, but I think Jamie Lynn is much more attractive.
More importantly, Jamie is much smarter than Britney. I’ve seen clips of her from x17online and other celebrity sources and the girl is just classier. I guess Mama Spears learned a few lessons after Britney came out a hot mess and tried not to make the same mistakes with Jamie. She’s pretty polite to the paparazzi and tells them to have a nice day rather than going bat shit crazy and attacking them with umbrellas. She also CLOSES HER LEGS every time she gets into a vehicle or even on a golf cart. In one video clip she was with her boyfriend and they got on a golf cart and immediately she crossed her legs like a lady. Several things Britney can learn from her younger sister!

Once upon a time they controlled Britney’s puppet strings, and sold her to you in a nice neat package. Haven’t we learned by now that there is more than we know going on behind those cheap, phony smiles the Spears family wears?
But I will say this for Jamie, she does seem to have a more level head than her sister. You can see that from pictures of them in the past, when Britney has tried to give Jamie “expert advice” on how to manage her career (ROTFLMAO!), you can see the impatience on Jamie’s face in those pictures. It’s priceless. Truly priceless. That little sis’s career is taking off while the “know it all” spolied brat is plummetting. I bet you Britney is jealous!
I think there’s a 50/50 chance that brit brit will cut off Jamie too, or become a hanger-on in order to get publicity. But yeah, you’re exactly right….expecting sincerity and true substance from this family, or from entertainers in general, isn’t exactly a good idea. Any original talent gets processed, packaged, and polished to fine glow, and the celebs are trained to perpetuate their image.

I agree with you 100%. I seriously don’t know what I’d do if I were in Jamie Lynn’s shoes and stuck in the middle of a bad situation. I wish Jamie Lynn the best. Stay strong!
MikeG…WOW, you are right on the money!!! I was on another site saying much the same thing, and got such negative responses! Don’t get me wrong, Britney is responsible for her current actions; however, her crazy stage mom certainly got her to this point. Unfortunately, Lynn’s steering Jamie Lynn down the same path it seems.
