Justin Timberlake Gives You Some Southern Hospitality

jt3.jpg

JT will open a new restaurant called ‘Southern Hospitality’ next Wednesday on Second Avenue near 76th Street. It will offer a Memphis-style cuisine with recipes derived from Justin’s family.

Let’s hope it’s actually good food and not just using Justin’s likeness to attract customers.

Didn’t he learn from Britney’s mistakes (opening the expensive southern cuisine restaurant in NYC, “NYLA”, which was a huge failure)? I’m in NYC right now and do not plan on eating at his restaurant. It’s going to be overpriced fried chicken just because his name is stamped on the front door. Give me a break. Huge mistake on his part. He should’ve opened a club because people would actually go to that to dance to his music and see his ass on occasion. But New Yorkers know what real food taste like and they won’t settle for anything less. If his southern cuisine isn’t able to rival the other BBQ places on the upper east side and Harlem for a reasonable price then it will not succeed.

Did that person just say that New Yorkers know what real food tastes like? I nearly spit out the soda I was drinking!

I wish Justin much luck. I am from Virginia and love to eat southern food and I went to culinary school as well. I think that it will work because they need a restaurant that offers those foods. I think that it is chance for something different when it comes food in New York. Plus I just love Justin and I guess I am one those people that would eat there because his name in it and I trust he would deliver good food.

I will be eating at a familiar place sooooon an d I want to know if your restaurant offers knoxville,Tn style collard Greens? My friend Ronnie ate some Greens in goldland, ohio that literally knocked the socks off his feet, but they had an after taste and gave him the worst case of the shits!!! I can not aford to watch him pull over to the side of the road again and spread his brotherly love to the likes of half of the parking lot.It made me want to give up on southern hospitality eating. P.S. I know all greens are not the same.peeeeeu.
