That’s a big step down the ladder of Hollywood society. If true, now Britney will likely be denied at the other top tier clubs because they don’t want to be seen as needy or less popular than Area. She’ll probably go out on weekdays (less crowded and less chance of denial) or to the tier 2 clubs more regularly to avoid embarassment. Perhaps she should just stick to raising her family so her two boys don’t turn out like her. Instead, she got a dog, one more living being she can’t take care of and uses for photo ops.

As for why nobody wants the house? I don’t know much about the LA housing market right now, but I bet both Britney’s homes smell like a pack of Marlboros!
wondering what you think of, say, travis barker- frequently drunk, smoking and out clubbing constantly. he is the father of two young children, isn’t he? he is photographed in clubs nearly every night and is once again talking trash about his wife and saying he’ll get custody. does he deserve the same venom you reserve for britney or is his behavior fine because he is “just” the father?
oh, and he is a total media whore. he loves talking personal business up to the camera. i am wondering why he doesn’t get the same comments as britney. must be the lack of a uterus… the double standard doesn’t only exist, it prevails.
You’ve pointed out several celebs that do crazy/stupid stuff and I don’t agree with those situations either. But I try my best to stay away from the topics that involve people I’m not too familiar with. I know Travis Barker was in Blink 182 and that’s pretty much all I know about him. I would feel pretty weird to go up in a thread for a person I’m not too familiar with and start stating opinions about him/her. I’ll leave those posts to the people that know a lot about Travis (whether they like him or dislike him). I prefer to just stay out of the territories I don’t know too much about. I’m not sure if everybody else on this site is the same way or not.
i simply believe that if you’re going to have strong beliefs, then you should be consistent with them. many people who go on about britney’s behavior seem to have no problem with others who behave the same way and worse. you should be driven by genuine concern, not obsessive hatred of a person. and there is real concern in there, too. if britney’s sons will be damaged by photos of her “nip slips”, then won’t travis barker’s kids be decimated by his ugly comments about their mother? doesn’t anyone else think that someone who can’t even eat a burger because he’s so drunk (hasselhoff) should NOT have custody of his children? britney seems fairly tame most of the time.

Looks like another agree to disagree case. You feel comfortable stating your opinion anywhere about anybody and I only feel comfortable doing it with people I’m familiar with or know a lot of stuff about. I’m sure the kids (whoever we’re talking about) will observe what’s going on around them and they’ll be the one to decide if they think they have a dickhead for a father or a skank for a mother, etc.

I liked how a certain obsessed poster-of-comments got real uptight when someone else mentioned that noone wants to buy Britneys house because she is crazy. Im just saying that I find the comments more amusing than the article itself. I think that person should change their name to “The Brit Defender”
So when people calculate Britney’s worht at $100 million, this is just one of the errors they are committing. Shge may have real estate that is valued at such a price, but even considering if the market is friendly to home sellers, people simply do not want to live in Britney’s house and will not pay that mauch money to live in her wake. And it seems that Britney’s fans either do not have the cash, or do not have the loyalty that claim to have to her, to scoop up her house just to have a piece of her.
It is truly sad to see that she clutches that puppy tighter than her childen.
