Spears, who was picking up groceries at a local store on Sunday, also said that “hopefully” daughter Britney will make it to a family cookout in their hometown for the Fourth of July holiday.
Britney’s response this Sunday at Sushi House Unico was:
“I’m praying for her right now. [I hope] she gets all the help she needs,” Spears said.
Hmm……..oh well, that kinda does it. Not only is Britney a horrible selfish person who treats her non-enablers like shit, but she’s also quite the mega bitch for speaking about her mother like that. Talk about self-destruction at its finest….it’s at the family level now.

This last public attack on her mother is just another such indication of her mental distress. The girl needs an intervention, but it doesn’t look like its going to happen and Brit is going to continue calling the shots with her delusional mindset and self-destruct. It’s really very sad.

It wasn’t a love letter. Oh sure, like Lynne is going to hold on to a love letter while she drives, and is on her cell phone. Anyway, Britney isn’t talking about it being a love letter when she says that she is praying for her mother and thinks her mother needs help.

Lynne was not thinking about her daughter’s health when she worked with Kevin to get her into Rehab, which i believe was not needed. Especially as she tested negative for drugs and showed no signs of alchoholism. therefore Lynne was in the wrong to use emotional blackmail to get her daughter to check into rehab, for her public image. It’s true that she loves her as any mother loves their child, but forcing her into rehab with her husband who is trying to take her babies away must have really affected Britney, i know it would affect me. Britney’s life is so public, she is only partly to blame, therefore if she feels like embarassing her mother the way her mother embarassed her then so be it. I’m sure in years to come things will brighten up a little bit. But even if Britney is telling the shutterbugs what she is, its her life and people need to judge a little lesss.

We don’t know that her tests came back negative. No one has seen those reports except for Britney, and she’s been known to lie. If they are so negative then why doesn’t she show them to us, l;ike she shows everything else, and since she’s trying SO HARD to prove she’s not on drugs?
Anyway just because the tests may have been negative it doesn’t mean that she d have a substance abuse problem. Britney was drinking heavily at that time, and she did lose A TON OF WEIGHT TOO FAST, if she combined the alcohol with weight loss drugs, pain killers or anything else, that could explain her crazies, and would be considered a substance abuse problem.
Anyway, Britney has never said why she was there, except for “ADD” and now pretending that she didn’t need to be there. The problem was that her behavior was so eratic for so long, that she did need help! Maybe not rehab, but definetly a stay at a mental hospital. Why you are holding it against her parents for trying to help her is beyond me.
Britney did not have to stay in Promises. If they gave her an ultimatum, then she could have consulter her lawyer BEFORE going in, rather than after. And last time I checked, defamtion of character is something people can sue each other for. So she could take these people and especially Promisies to court if she could prove that she really didn’t need to be there.
But she’s not exercising her legal right to sue, which means she can’t prove that she didn’t need to be there, or that these allegations of drug use are false. So instead, she’s going to leak fake reports about not being a drug user, and not needing rehab, and publically embarass all those who allowed her to embarass herself….because she knows that her blind little sheep supporters will believe her no matter how many times she is caught in a lie.
Forget about some “big comeback” Britney doersn’t care about that. What she cares about is revenge. Why do you find that kind of a person worthy of hero worship?

I think Britney is in denial of her destructive behavior and is now projecting her issues onto her mother. Britney might be trying to make herself look innocent while trying to make her mother look bad, because she’s resentful of going to rehab.

This is absolutely ridiculous. For one thing, Britney will not “do anything for attention,” her problems arise from the media STALKING HER AND LINING UP OUTSIDE OF STORE FITTING ROOMS WITH CAMERAS. I wonder if buying clothes is attention hogging? Or, being told that “there’s a crowd at the window,” to take a peek, is that an evil scheme to take over the world by appearing on the tabloids? It’s not like she was a happy star with supportive family and fans who randomly shaved her hair and went through depression and mania to get attention…she had two failed relationships in a row and a plethora of “fans” dissing her for being “fat” and a family that wasn’t sure whether to support her or her husband..when they were part of the reason the two broke up in the first place (Lynne disliked Kevin.)

So many people just like watching a “star” fall and be able to look down on someone who they secretly think didn’t deserve the happiness they had in their life..which is bullshit, of course, because Britney worked for her singing and dancing since childhood and took many risks to launch her career, and is now suffering more than most people will in their lifetimes..

Not long ago, Christina (whom I like) was posing naked anywhere and everywhere, posing in handcuffs, in any softcore pose she could. Now she has- what? Redeemed herself by marrying and being happy? The media is sick. I don’t like Paris Hilton, but recent shots of her on a beach in a bikini, tanning, were met with derision because her legs were open. On a beach! Or in a sexy swimsuit, on this site, which was met with scorn- and right beneath it, a shot of Eva Longoria in a similar suit was met with approval. Shots of Nick Lachey and his girlfriend having sex- come on. The media goes for money shots and people cluck their tongues and shake their heads at the stars. They’re money shots, nothing more, and Britney gets the bulk of them. It’s disgusting what the media will do, aiming for the slimiest shots (reprinting unflattering shots multiple times) and intruding on personal moments, but we all blame the people who are followed around. I think it’s interesting that Christina always felt able to discuss her troubled background- her mother threw her father out for unacceptable behavior. And now she’s past it. Britney’s mother never threw James out, they live off Britney and have for years- maybe there are REASONS Britney is struggling in recent years.
