I think Michael Jackson is and will always be the king of pop. If he goes on tour, I will try to get first row for sure. Now…..I don’t know - would you parade your kid around like this, with a mask on, to protect their face from being exposed to malice? That’s Prince Michael Jackson II (also nicknamed Blanket). I’ve never seen a boy that young, with hair that long….but that’s besides the point. The mask and the whole thing is just…..bizarre.

Now, according to genetics, a bi-racial child who is half black and half white [like blanket is supposed to be] could possibly be born with blue eyes [vanessa williams], and blondish hair…depending on which parent’s genes are the strongest…but we all know that no half-black child is going to be born with platinum blonde hair that darkens all the way to black in a short handful of years! I think he switched the kid out and replaced him with a kid who can “pass” for bi-racial… HHAA!
Blanket’s hair has never been blonde. The eldest son is the only blonde kid of Jacko’s and always has been. So stop talking BS.
I think is such a shame for these kids. It’s bad enough that their dad always has bad things going on around him, and to make them wear this? I feel a great deal of sorrow for these children. He makes them wear blankets and masks, at 10 years old. It is just so sad. They will never have a “normal” childhood, and why not show their faces? Every other celeb does it, and their kids are fine. Michael Jackson in a crazy s.o.b., and his poor kids are forced to look crazy themselves. Such a shame.
I just hope Promises is still open for that kid in a few years.

I think you guys forget that he has TWO sons named Prince Michael. The older one who’s maybe 9/10 has blonde hair. This one who’s 4 (I think) has dark hair. He was the one who was dangled off the balcony.
I agree that it is a near impossibility that a bi-racial kid can be born with WHITE skin, straight BLONDE hair, and BLUE eyes. Prince Michael I is definitely white, totally white.
Besides the point, putting a mask on your kid and parading them around in public is really messed up. His kids are a gimmick to get people to talk about him. It’s sad.
None of Jacko’s kid is blonde WITH blues eyes. Prince is blonde but his eyes are dark brown.
Use your imagination on someone else’s kids.
I thought it was his daughter at first too. I was under the impression that “Blanket” was blonde. And yes the kid looks totally unhappy. Someone please rescue him, and give the child a chance at being a child. Normal is out of the question, is “dad” has made that impossible.
The kid does not look bi-racial to me. The Jackson genes are strong, just take a look at all of them when they were younger (pre-plastic surgery) and the offspring. MJ kids do not show and signs of being bi-racial. MJ stole those kids and we all know it. They stay covered because we might say “Hey, I saw him on the back of a milk carton.”

The reason you thought Blanket was blonde is that the media keep claiming that his kids are all blonde with blue eyes. The truth is that none are. Some people can’t stand the idea of Jacko fathering kids and use their imagination to keep that tought away.
I teach in inner city NY and a LOT of the parents are now growing their sons’ hair like that. They cornrow the hair, do ponytails, like ghetto hippies. It’s odd to see it on MJ’s son as he’s not exactly street. But it’s not the hair I would worry about with those kids. It’s MJ’s strange obsession with making them wear masks, costumes, etc. Is there some kidnap threat out there or something?
By the way, if you look at Rashida Jones who is half black and half white, she looks like a very pale person of color. Straight dark hair, very light skin, etc. The same thing with Alicia Keys, though she’s darker. My niece is half black, and she looks white except that her (blond) hair is very curly. So you never know how a biracial child will look. That said, it’s hard to picture MJ able to get it up long enough to go at a cup for deposit OR a woman. I always thought he seemed completely incapable of erection.

It’s ironic, don’t they also blur out the faces of child molestation victims on TV?
They will always be his kids. Will they have to wear maksks as adults too? He can buy a killer defense team, but not body guards? It is tragic that these children are forced to wear masks. I can just see them having major issues for this reason, and lord knows what other craziness they have been exposed to.
Michael wants his kids to be the ones to make the choice on whether or not they are plastered on magazines every week. They wear the masks in his presence, but otherewise they do not.
It’s a small sacrifice to make in the grand scheme of things. They go out all the time unnoticed and that’s what he wants for them. He doesn’t want people treating them differently he wants them to be treated like normal children…(how ever possible that is).
Michael did get death threats on his he and his children when he was on trial. It really scared him.
I don’t think it’s a small sacrifice. This really sounds like it could mess them up big time. Yes, there are death threats but mostly towards him but not his children. Even so, how does a mask save them from that? How does a mask save them from a gun? If anything it makes them easier to point out in the crowd. The one with the mask is his child. And if they never go out without him and a string of body guards then why is he worried about people knowing what they look like without masks? Why aren’t they safe with that level of protection? Why can’t he get the gps alarms? And if he did cause he can afford them, then why still the masks?
If you ask me, this is all a lie. Michael obviously has body dysmorphic disorder which seems to stem from not wanting to look like his abusive father. I think his sickness has now spread to how he treats his children, which often happens with severly mentally ill parents.

If that is his son, then I feel sorry for that boy. He’s going to someday think (if he doesn’t already), ‘Why does daddy want me to look like a girl?’

Jenn, although it is true that a small percentage of bi-racial children resemble Rashida Jones and Alicia Keys. But if you are truly use to looking at bi-racial children, and Black people (especially if you are Black) you can pick them out of any where. Although, I was floored when Jade from ANTM said she was mixed. But after watching her actions and listening to her talk, there was not doubt in my mind. Either she was truly mixed or grew up around a lot of Black people.

Well Michael isn’t the picture of mental health or a stable upbringing so he’s just doing what he thinks is right…the unfortunate thing is his kids are going to have issues because #1 they are a celebrity’s kids #2 they are Michael Jackson’s kids (not saying that’s a bad thing but he is very different from a lot of celebrities) #3 they’ve had to wear masks in public since they were babies. That is really going to do something to their sense of self, how they interact with others…I feel bad for them…

This poor child looks SO unhappy and miserable. These kids’ faces are always covered with masks/scarves/etc. I’m sure that this little kid is not happy that his hair is long like a little girl’s either. I don’t understand why somebody has not stepped in to protect these children from this alleged “pedophile”. Someday, when these kids are old enough, maybe we will all find out the truth about what it was like growing up with Michael Jackson as a father. I’m sure that they will need lots of therapy.
