So, she criticizes Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson for acting, but now the Punk Princess is gonna give acting a stab?

Although I am not a fan of her or her music, i think she is acutally cute and spunky. Why not is all i have to say.
I don’t know; she is Vanilla Ice. Fake punk, fake rap. She goes on and on about all these people whose asses she has kicked (collectively or not, she doesn’t say) and who are just so totally scared of her and it makes me think of what Ice-T once said about Vanilla Ice: “He’s always saying he’s street. What street is he from, Sesame Street”?

Avril does sing some really good songs. Her latest song, “When You’re Gone,” is very good (and the music video is nice, too). It shows her sentimental side and the melody tugs at the heart strings.
I’m sorry, but I like her. I’ve liked her from the beginning. The has the best lips I have ever seen, and I like her attitude. I would like to hang out with her one day. I don’t own any of her albums but I like her as a person. And I’m sure her new music can’t be that bad.

I think she’s a hypocrite, but I can’t stand people who exclude certain sounds from the category of “music”. She may not be John Lennon, but her music has touched tons of young girls and I think there are millions who would be insulted and annoyed by your assertion that her songs don’t qualify as music. Art is subjective, and it’s rude and disrespectful to treat anyone’s work the way this article does.
Of course journalists are allowed to express their opinion, but no one needs to be so disrespectful of others when doing it.
She use to talk about all the pop music girls like britney, etc. and look at her now, I don’t know but I don’t like her, she’s totally diferent know, I though she was original but I don’t know now.At least she was smart to do all the punk act at the begining of her career.
I think she became an official hypocrite the day she lightened her hair and posed nude on the cover of that magazine (sorry can’t remember which one) after she’d spent half her career criticizing britney for being provocative. didn’t she say she’d never do those things or something like that?? i don’t think there’s anything wrong with lightening your hair or posing in men’s magazines, but when you diss others who’ve never said anything negative about you for the same actions, then you’d better think twice. i personally never liked her and still cannot stand her.

I think she should do what ever she wants whenever she wants to do it, just like everyone else is entitled to do. Who cares if she may have once said or implied when she was a kid.
