Salma Hayek and French fiancé Francois-Henri Pinault,are sparing no expenses with the birth of their new baby, due this summer. They are importing high-end clothes, toys and even wallpaper from her native country of Mexico.
Salma is contemplating between two names, Frida for a girl (after Frida Kahlo) and Diego for a boy, after Frida’s lover Diego Rivera.
I think it’s admirable that she would want to name her baby after Frida, but that is one fugly name.

I know she loved the movie Freida that she did, and well she should because she did an outstanding job in all her roles with that film; but naming her children after one of the characters? I find that hard to believe. But maybe …who knows, it could be Hazel or Phineas.: )

frida was not just a character in her movie. an outstanding artist and a strong person, she lives in blood and soul and the movie was based on her life. Salma has often talked about the passion she has for this amazing woman. better to name your child after somone u have genuine admiration for, rather than name it like branch of a hotel - Paris Hilton or something.
