What makes me sick besides looking and listening to that fat Jew looking bitch Rosie is the fact that when 911 happen everyone in this country wanted something done about it. Well something is getting done and the best of it is it isn’t happening on our soil. If W. would have just let 911 go and been a big twat like you liberals we would still have shit blowing up everyday in our country. I personally can care less about who’s get phucked up in other countries, when you phuck with the USA there should be a reason right after for others to think twice about phuckin with us again.
You’re the problem with this country. First of all, I’m not Jewish but the fact that you started your statement with “that fat Jew looking bitch” just shows your ignorance and prejudices. If you don’t want horrible things done to our innocent civilians then what makes it any better for us to go and attack a country who never attacked us? Al Queda wasn’t prominent in Iraq until we invaded that country. Rosie as well as other liberals support the troops. We think it’s wrong that they are losing their lives over there for absolutely no reason. And it takes a compassionate and open-minded person to realize that at the same time there are innocent Iraqis dying in huge numbers everyday - women, children, babies, innocent men - who have nothing to do with terrorism. Just because someone is from the Middle East does not mean they are our enemy but now they are becoming just that because they hate what our government is doing to their people.

Listen here, “Dolamite”, you obviously have an extremely distorted view of this country and the elected persons in charge of keeping it together. What we are doing in Iraq is not right. We have been there for four years now and what exactly have we accomplished? We have tried to set up housing, hospitals, shelters, and government in that country and all of it has been in vain. The citizens and mititia of Iraq only know how to fight.That is all they have done in their country for hundreds of years. Our troops, our Government, should not be there. It is absolutly pointless becausein four years we have done nothing but fight the insurgents, kill innocent civilians, and waste the lives of brave men and women in our armys. All the women of the View are pig-headed and think that everything they say is right and justified. That’s what makes it the View. The problem is that while it’s great TV for us to watch; Joy, Elizabeth, Rosie, and Barbara all have to live this as their lives. They have to go home and have this all on their shoulders. Before you think of someone as a “fat Jew looking bitch” think of something that you (if you) have felt as right. Completely right and you could never be wayed in any other direction. That’s her side. Get some more facts together and pick yours.

That was quite the “discussion” but what all the blogs seem to be failing to mention is it was really Bahar that got the whole thing started. And Rosie is right. Iraq didn’t cause 911 and al kaida is in Iraq because we opened the borders when we invaded them and let them in. Also at least 650,000 innocent iraqi civilians are dead so far because of this war. Elizabeth has the right to support Mr. Bush but the facts are the facts.

I don’t understand how people are seeing this as Rosie bullying Elizabeth. It’s an argument between collegues and maybe even friends though I doubt they are close. If your friend just sat back and watched you being dumped on wouldn’t you feel betrayed? Even if that person wasn’t your friend but just a respected colleague? I believe that if a liberal pundit said something awful about Elizabeth, Rosie would have come to her defense. At least I would and I hate Elizabeth and her beliefs. That’s what you do for someone you have a friendship with. I believe that Elizabeth probably agreed with the Republican pundits but just couldn’t say it on television in front of Rosie without looking like a complete idiot who repeats whatever Faux News says.

I use to think Elizabeth was pretty weak because she always let Rosie get away with her insane views without any response to them, but damn, that was awesome!
She has finally had it with Rosie like the rest of the rational, sane world has and finally someone on that show has got the nerve to put obnoxious Rosie in her place. Now, I’m just waiting for Elizabeth to tell Rosie “don’t let the door hit in your big butt on the way out!”.

The following ’speech’ was written yesterday by an ordinary Maineiac. While satirical in nature, all satire must have a basis in fact to be effective. An excellent piece by a person who does not write for a

The speech George W. Bush SHOULD give:
Normally, I start these things out by saying ‘My Fellow Americans.’ Not doing it this time. If the polls are any indication, I don’t know who more than half of you are anymore. I do know something terrible has happened, and that you’re really not fellow Americans any longer.
I’ll cut right to the chase here: I quit. Now before anyone gets all in a lather about me quitting to avoid impeachment, or to avoid prosecution or something, let me assure you: there’s been no breaking of laws or impeachable offenses in this office.
The reason I’m quitting is simple. I’m fed up with you people.I’m fed up because you have no understanding of what’s really going on in the world. Or of what’s going on in this once-great nation of
ours. And the majority of you are too damned lazy to do your homework and figure it out.
Let’s start local. You’ve been sold a bill of goods by
politicians and the news media. Polls show that the majority of you think the economy is in the tank. And that’s despite record numbers of homeowners
including record numbers of MINORITY homeowners. And while we’re mentioning minorities, I’ll point out that minority business ownership is at an all-time high. Our unemployment rate is as low as it ever was during the Clinton Administration. I’ve mentioned all those things before, but it doesn’t seem to have sunk in.
Despite the shock to our economy of 9/11, the stock market has rebounded to record levels and more Americans than ever are participating in these markets. Meanwhile, all you can do is whine about gas prices, and most of you are too damn stupid to realize that gas prices are high because there’s increased demand in other parts of the world, and because a small handful of noisy idiots are more worried about polar bears and beachfront property than your economic security. We face real threats in the world. Don’t give me this ~blood for
oil’ thing. If I was trading blood for oil I would’ve already seized Iraq’s oil fields and let the rest of the country go to hell. And don’t give me this ‘Bush Lied People Died’ crap either. If I was the liar you morons take me for, I could’ve easily had chemical weapons planted in Iraq so they could be ‘discovered.’ Instead, I owned up to the fact that the intelligence was faulty. Let me remind you that the rest of the world thought Saddam had the
goods, same as me. Let me also remind you that regime change in Iraq was official US policy before I came into office. Some guy named ‘Clinton’
established that policy. Bet you didn’t know that, did you?
You idiots need to understand that we face a unique enemy. Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally,
the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to outspend and out-tech them.
That’s not the case this time. The soldiers of our new enemy don’t care if they survive. In fact, they want to die. That’d be fine, as long as they weren’t also committed to taking as many of you with them as
they can. But they are. They want to kill you. And the bastards are all over the globe.
You should be grateful that they haven’t gotten any more of us here in the United States since September 11. But you’re not. That’s because you’ve got no idea how hard a small number of intelligence, military, law
enforcement and homeland security people have worked to make sure of that. When this whole mess started, I warned you that this would be a long and difficult fight. I’m disappointed how many of you people think a long and difficult fight amounts to a single season of ‘Survivor’.
Instead, you’ve grown impatient. You’re incapable of seeing things through the long lens of history, the way our enemies do. You think that wars should last a few months, a few years, tops.
Making matters worse, you actively support those who help the enemy. Every time you buy the New York Times, every time you send a donation to a cut-and-run Democrat’s political campaign, well, dammit, you might just as well Fedex a grenade launcher to a Jihadist. It amounts to the same thing.
In this day and age, it’s easy enough to find the truth. It’s all over the Internet. It just isn’t on the pages of the New York Times or on NBC News. But even if it were, I doubt you’d be any smarter. Most of you would rather watch American Idol.
I could say more about your expectations that the government will always be there to bail you out, even if you’re too stupid to leave a city that’s below sea level and has a hurricane approaching. I could say
more about your insane belief that government, not your own wallet, is where the money comes from. But I’ve come to the conclusion that were I to do so,
it would sail right over your heads.
So I quit. I’m going back to Crawford. I’ve got an
energy-efficient house down there (Al Gore could only dream) and the capability to be fully self-sufficient. No one ever heard of Crawford before
I got elected, and as soon as I’m done here pretty much no one will ever hear of it again. Maybe I’ll be lucky enough to die of old age before the last pillars of America fall.
Oh, and by the way, Cheney’s quitting too. That means Pelosi is your new President. You asked for it. Watch what she does carefully, because I still have a glimmer of hope that there’re just enough of you remaining who are smart enough to turn this thing around in 2008.

This is the most ridiculous, ignorant piece of writing I’ve read. There are intelligent beings in this world, many of them are liberal. The author counters any partial-truth (increased gas prices due to increased demand elsewhere) by throwing an incredibly outrageous claim into the mix (so the NY Times supports Terrorists?)
If you want to criticize Americans for their ignorance, perhaps you should shed yours first. Perhaps you will arrive at a different conclusion (where do you get your so-called news anyway?)

As crazy as Rosie can be, she makes some very good points in this clip. I mean, kudos to Elizabeth for standing up for herself, but Rosie asks a great question.

I give the View a year after Rosie leaves… but Elizabeth was bating Rosie in this show. I think its important to have varying viewpoints in a show called The View, but in this case, it was just ratings and a lot of noise on E’s part. Can’t say much for Elisabeth’s thinking…at this point, even staunch Republicans think Bush sold us out.
I totally agree. I think the majority of America hates Elizabeth more than Rosie. At least Rosie can bring in the ratings regardless of how people feel about her. I personally like Rosie as a comedian and personality, and I think that most of the time she is FUNNY AS HELL, but I HATE her politics. I think that she is a COMPLETE left winger with some very crazy thoughts! I don’t watch the View and only see most of these clips on the internet, but from what I have seen Rosie DOES NOT stick to the facts and completely runs around questions when asked for specific answers to support her “views”. She makes conspiracy theory comments that are border line Michael Moore. Elizabeth always uses the facts and that is why in these discussions Rosie is the one that stays quiet, because she does not have factual evidence or rebuttals to come back with. The only reason that they had this argument was because Rosie got MAJOR backlash about what she said about the troops. She did say all of those things and then did not like all the crap that she got in the media for it. We all know the media spins everything, but its really hard to spin something when it is right there on tape. Pretty typical of a liberal like Rosie… DO NOT take responsibility for your own words or actions and then try to blame someone else for the mistake. It also gets on my nerves that Rosie has a HUGE chip on her shoulder about being a lesbian and a democrat. STOP PLAYING THE POOR POOR PITIFUL “I’M A LESBIAN DEMOCRAT” card when things don’t go your way!
Again, I don’t understand what Rosie said that was radical. Again, the facts are out there. Nearly one million innocent Iraqis have been killed. Faux News and conservatives can disagree with the numbers that have been put out there by respectable, non-partisan organizations but it’s there. Regardless, just the fact that there is a f-ing roadside bombing or suicide attack that kills hundreds of people each day says something in itself. Just use your own common sense and math if you don’t believe the figures. Rosie didn’t say anything about the troops. It’s like you can’t support the troops without having to agree with the President and his decision to invade Iraq. That’s bad reasoning. There are troops fighting over there that also don’t agree with Bush’s decision. I just heard on the news a man who is a prof at Boston University and has always been a critic of the Iraq War lose a son over there last month. You don’t have to be a conservative to support the troops or understand that Bush lied to us to finish what his daddy started.
Yesterday’s “catfight” that Elizabeth instigated had nothing to do with politics. Rosie was asking her a personal question and Elizabeth, in a tizzy and almost frothing at the mouth, kept dragging it back into politics and their clearly opposite camps. I think Elizabeth dragged the show to a low. She never “got” what Rosie was asking her and she clearly didn’t “get” that Rosie was asking her a question from personal knowledge of her ( Rosie). Elizabeth was just too caught up in the drama she was creating to really hear what Rosie was saying.
It happens to the best of us, but seriously, this was ridiculous…and Rosie, “Big fat lesbo Rosie,” was doing her best NOT to take part in it. But she got dragged in…which was unfortunate for her.

Our TROOPS are not terrorists!! WE ALL (Conservative and Liberal alike) AGREE WITH THAT!! They are just there doing what their commander has told them to do. They are doing their job… It is BUSH and his followers who are the real terrorists. He lied to us as Americans…he used OUR fears against us to get Americans to back this war…it was soooo soon after 9/11 that we still wanted to hold someone responsible, and we were led to believe that Iraq was the enemy. He can say all he wants that his intelligence was wrong, but you can’t tell me he didn’t know what was going on there. BUSH wanted to finish what his daddy started, so he invaded a country that at the time, while not completely innocent in the world, were really doing nothing TO us. It’s no wonder that people hate Americans today. We invade countries who have different beliefs than us and try to conform them to make them just like us. THAT isn’t right, and I can’t say that I blame Al Queda one tiny bit. Instead of trying to liberate and make Iraq our little clones, we should have went after the people who actually DID attack us. The administration went about invading Iraq all wrong. If they were SO sure there were WMD’s, they should NEVER have said on air over and over “get rid of them…or else!!” We should have just gone in by surprise and got them… But no, they wanted the AMERICANS to fear so that we’d back whatever decision they made. YES, we have been at war since Sept. 11, 01…and rightfully so!! We were attacked on our own soil for no real good reason and thousands of our citizens died that day. But it was NOT Iraq that attacked us. We should have gone full force after Al Queda and nailed them SOB’s to the wall for the whole world to see. We should have put all these BILLIONS of dollars into finding Osama Bin Laden…NOT getting Sadam…not THIS time around. HE was doing nothing to us at the time. And while we’ve been so focused on Iraq, Korea and Iran have been making moves against us. Bush needs to be held accountable, and his few supporters left need to be gotten rid of. Send them away from here cause they’re just as bad as he is.
