The New York Post reports this morning that flameout popster Britney Spears flipped again - ranting about the lack of leather seats on her United Airlines flight from L.A. to Miami Friday night, and demanding to be let off minutes before takeoff . “She just said, ‘I don’t want to fly on this plane. It hasn’t got leather seats,’ ” passenger Tony Sanchez told Splash News.
The captain accommodated, later apologizing to passengers. “He said a passenger wanted to get off so he had to respect their wishes. He didn’t say it was Britney Spears.” Sanchez said.
“Some people were getting really annoyed.” Spears’ flacks didn’t return calls. The star was due to perform at the House of Blues in Orlando last night, and in South Beach today.
Oh what a princess! God forbid there was no private jet standing by with leather seats for the darling! It is also so sad and pathetic how she would go to the extent of turning back an aircraft and delaying an entire flight containing over 150 passengers because she can’t get past her own selfish ways! For all you saying that last nights concert was a disaster you guys need to check your sources, the one thing that went wrong last night was during the song Do Something the cd started skipping so the back up track was gone but Britney’s (since she doesnt really lipsynch she actually sings with a back up track) continued singing which made for an actual live show where she was the one singing not the back up track. Also last night interacted alot more with the audience thank them after pretty much every song by saying “Thank you for coming out Orlando”. So yeah I wonder why Ruben doesnt report that? If she truly forced a commercial flight to let her off after the boarding equipment had been removed, which would also necessitate the identifying and unloading of her baggage, this should be a punishable act with the FAA. This has Homeland Security implications, and should have consequences. If this story is false, her PR flack (or someone) should really issue a serious disclaimer.
