Well, I’d say it’s kind of wrong if he settles for that wage. I mean, he’ll attract much more audience than any of the other actors = much more money for the company. But that’s just my thought.
i think the priority here lies in his decision to play THAT ROLE, not caring about how much money they’ll earn through him. maybe he’s even feeling somewhat good about it that their financial situation’s gonna be safe for that 07/08 season.. like.. being a helping hand while simply wanting to act, you know?

When he was on stage in Guys & Dolls I traveled from N.H., U.S.A. to London to see him, and I hope to bring my granddaughter to see him because she Loves Shakespeare, and has acted in his plays in school, loves anything to do with England & Scotland, and I’m totally addicted to Ewan McGregor!!!
