Elliot Mintz Paris Hilton concocted this clever mea culpa (in quotes below) in a way that couldn’t have been phrased better by former president Clinton himself. Anyone out there who buys this crap is out of their mind. In my eyes, she’s going to jail because she subconsciously THOUGHT she was above the law and that things would be in good hands (or else she would have taken the matter seriously), therefore her best medicine is to keep her mouth absolutely shut on her way to Butchville. (quote below from PEOPLE):
After reading the media’s coverage of my court hearing, I feel the need to correct what I believe are misperceptions about me. I absolutely realize how serious driving under the influence is. I could not live with myself if anyone was injured or killed while I was driving while impaired.
Clearly, no one should – no matter how slightly. I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. No one is above the law. I surely am not. I do not expect to be treated better than anyone else who violated probation. However, my hope is that I will not be treated worse.
In a poll conducted recently by TMZ, 90% of their readers felt Paris deserved to go to jail. That to me is being treated worse already within itself because people have absolutely NO sympathy for her. The latter is the effect caused by nothing else but her behaviour, and as too many people will concur again and again; Karma is a bitch.

lock the bitch up. she is everything that is wrong with our society
she got a light sentence. if i were the judge i’d sentence her to 3 months of community service…
…during the summer.
Paris needs to be punished now to learn a valuable lesson before she actually harms someone while drinking and driving. How much do you want to bet that after her stint in the joint, she’ll go back to her old ways. It would be a miracle if she didn’t but I’m not holding my breath. suck it up Paris and act like a grown up for once and not a spoiled rich brat.
911 Truth is 110% more important than a stupid hilton brat. Ruben, where’s ya head at? Are you seriously more interested in fake personalities than ended crimes against humaity? Get a clue, you misguided fool.
I’m all for sending her to The Democratic Republic of Congo FOREVER! Let’s see how she survives the harsh realities of life …. she could even make some cash to fund her future malaria condition by creating a reality show where the whole world gets to watch her struggle to stay alive!
Heather, I’m behind you 100% on that one! I would even watch that reality show!
Jimmy I am with you on that, but let’s but her in the middle of Nevada in a trailer with no air conditioner.
Heather when and if we get to send her there, can we take away her credit card and sidekick as well.
Instead of jail time she should just get a bullet put through her head. That would be perfect!
She’s not being treated any worse then if any of us had driven twice or was it three times getting caught with a suspended license. In fact if it had been us we would have gone right to jail after court not given until June 5th. I don’t feel bad for her at all….
Was anyone really surprised that she “hired” her pr person back? How out of touch is Hollywood when you pay someone to pretend that you fired them, only to rehire them two days later? None of this surprises me except for the public outcries from her mother. Now it becomes obvious how much her parents have been encouraging Paris in this behavior. Now it becomes obvious why Paris has no respect for anyone and thinks she is above the law. She feels that way because her mother told her it was so. Lock both of them up and throw away the key.
Looks like Paris is not the media celebrity that everyone thought she was. I am starting to think that she is just a walking media circus, or at least her PR people are, Paris is just the untalented actress for them.
