We reported a few months ago that Disney was finally featuring their first black princess. Well, Anika Noni Rose (third member in Dreamgirls) got the role, beating out Tyra Banks, Jennifer Hudson, and Alicia Keys.
Good for her man! She will be the voice of Princess Maddy in The Frog Princess.

Ms. Rose is very “purty” and I thought she did very well in “Dreamgirls”, especially as most of the focus was on Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce`.
