
Martin Scorsese is putting his name on Miramax’s Italian import “Golden Door.” Emanuele Crialese’s tale of Sicilian immigrants to the U.S. at the turn of the 20th century opens May 25 in Gotham and June 1 in L.A. It also kicks off the San Francisco Film Festival later this month.Scorsese will be credited as a presenter and will be featured in the film’s marketing materials. He’ll also introduce the movie at a Tribeca Film Festival screening next week.
