Justin Timberlake was worried about Britney after all – so worried that he called her a while back to make sure she was all right, he says.
“I called her because I worried about her,” he said at a press day for “Shrek the Third,” which was also, awkwardly, attended by Cameron Diaz, Justin’s most recent ex, reports People. According to Justin, Britney’s on the right track: “She’s a great woman, I’m rooting for her. [It] seems like she’s getting everything under control now.”
Meanwhile, Britney is officially denying rumors that she’s got the hots for Los Angeles Lakers forward Luke Walton, telling photogs that it’s actually her cousin Alli who’s crushing on Luke.

He gets pissed when people ask about her, but every chance he gets hes like “Im rooting for…me and Timbaland want to revive her career…yada yada..” what the hell, Justin? Stop trying to gain fans by supporting Britney…and if you are still in love with her just admit it.
i agree- hes just trying to get britney fans. he used her. still trying to. and now everyone is asking for him to back up his words- because its kind of see-through what hes trying to do. i dont know anything about this saga, but reading up on it shows it. i also dont think he ever loved her- it seems like he always used her.
I don’t think Justin & Britney will ever date again. Why are many ppl rooting for them to date again? There relationship was so high school. Also, Justin only called Britney only because he was concerned about her and nothing more. It doesn’t mean that they’re gonna date again but yet everyone says that they’re meant to be and that they should be forced to date again. I think it’s too much of the paparazzi that’s making a bid deal and dishing out stories about the 2. If Justin ended up dating Britney again he’d have to realize that her 2 kids come 1st and he’d have to help out with the kids. Britney needs to focus on raising her 2 kids, her & Kevin made these kids together and they started a family together I think that those 2 should grow up and work something out for the sake of the kids. Doesn’t mean that they have to get re-married or date again but at least work something out for the sake of their sons.

They dated FOUR years from their late teens to their early twenties and even lived together at one point. It was a serious adult sexual relationship.
Clearly, JT was deeply wounded by this so called highschool romance that he wrote songs about their breakup.
Frankly, even bald Britney is hotter than Diaz, imo.
Besides, JT and Brit have known one another since very little….like since they were both 11/12 years old.
If one day they can make it work…I think it would be good. Both have known one another and trusted one another before they had fame. Both know and love one another’s family and vice versa. I know JT’s mom has made statements about how she loves Britney still.
It’s hard to find a true person who love you just for you when you are famous like they both are…it’s special when you do.
I hope they can at least be friends again.
I totally agree with you Karen_Bee. Justin was completely committed to Britney. We may not ever truly know what went wrong but, I think we can all agree on the fact that Justin choice to minimize the love they shared is a sign of a emotionally scarred man. Yes they loved each other and yes they broke up but what does it say about a person when they can’t even be bother to say hi or happy birthday to someone they’ve known half their life? ( Britney was celebrating her birthday) JT may be reaching again thru song = check out the lyrics to another song/love me again on his new CD futuresex/lovesounds. I would love a reunion for them but i’ll never hold my breathe.
