On Tuesday in Florida, Joe Francis was arrested at the Panama City airport on a warrant seeking his arrest for criminal contempt of court. The U.S. Marshal’s Office in Panama City tells that Francis, 34, is currently being held at the Bay County jail.
Why? Well, back in 2003 there was a lawsuit in which seven women accused him of victimizing them by filming them in sexual situations while they were on spring break in Panama City. The judge, however, recently changed certain terms of the settlement deal and ordered his arrest.
He was then ordered to surrender to authorities in Panama City to begin serving jail time but our buddy Joe missed the deadline.
