Eh! Carolina! If you think this is hard for you on account of your crush on him, imagine for those of us who got to know him quite well through common friends! That’s my case and when I met him, I fell under his charm but I had to be happy just talking to him. I never got to date him or anything and I am still under his spell today. I met him 5 years ago and I consider myself lucky that I got to talk to him longer than some of his fans do. Let’s all be happy that he obviously is not serious about Naomi Campbell and that he is not that only into black women as some seemed to think. By seeing him with a blond woman is in a way a good sign as it means he is dating other kind of women than exotic-looking black women. Also, I never thought when I read the rumors about him and Naomi that it could work between them. She likes her man to be as “in her face” as she is. If you look at her past lovers, Robert De Niro and Flavio Briattore, both very strong men, not afraid to speak their minds. Gerry is more laid-back and has admitted to preferring to keep quiet rather than get into a confrontation with somebody. If Briattore and De Niro couldn’t put up with her anger, it would have surprised me that Gerry could put up with it for long. She will never change! She is too set in her ways! What she needs is a more a rocker type of guy like Mickey Rourke or Tommy Lee! Not a sweetheart of a man like Gerry!

Just making a comment on the “supposed” romance between Gerry and Naomi. I don’t know any of these people personally. Although I have taken a personal liking to Gerry’s acting abilities and handsome good looks; I think he is a grown man and should do what suites him best. Perhaps he hasn’t found the “right” gal in his life and he is testing out the waters. Sometimes if we look into our personal lives, we may have come across situations where our friends or family members pursued relationships with ill suited partners. We would try to convince them of our opinion, “this person isn’t good enough for you” or “what do you see in him or what do you see in her”. But you know what? In the end, they have the right to self-determine what romantic relationship they wish to puruse. Like I said, I don’t know either of these people. Nobody is perfect and even if you guys don’t want to admit it, everybody has some kind of skeleton in their closet or bad ways that they wish to overcome. Its just that we since we live ordinary lives and are not in the throng of the media, our “faults” are not publicized frequently as celebrities are. I do admit as well, that I do find Gerry attractive, but the chances of ever meeting him or the chances of him falling in love with an “ordinary” folk like ourselves, may be slim. But miracles can happen to even the ordinary folk like us. Anyhow, take care…

as an african american woman who interracially dates, I think its sexy that Gerard is color blind and is comfortable dating outside his own nationality. If exotic women are his choice, than so be it. Besides Blonde women are so typical. That’s my opinion.

I read an interview Gerry did on an brazilian web-site he spoke about his attraction to black women. He said he always thought Black women were beautiful. I don’t think that means he only dates black women I think he is opened to all women and he does not exclude women based on race. Also he’s European, they have another sense when it comes to race relations than Americans. They don’t care.Seeing him with this white woman I may have a chance but I am much more attractive than her he may only like unattractive white women.
