Moody singer Avril Lavigne was forced to watch Britney Spears at a young age. “My mom made me go to a Britney Spears concert when I was young,” she confessed to Jane magazine. “I was like, ‘No, I don’t want to.’ She was like, ‘If you’re going to be a performer, you need to see other people.”
I think Avril is a huge fan of Britney Spears, in fact, I’m sure she was happy to attend the concert, and still must listen to her CD’s when nobody is watching! That’s what this looks like to me!

How on EARTH is avril a poser? Just because when she first came out on the scene everyone attacked her for trying to be another ‘Britney’ so she HAD to defend herself otherwise for the first years of her career and it problem comes natural now to be on the defense about that stuff. However, she is far from a poser! She is very hands on with her music, she writes her own material and MAKES her records! She isnt handed lyrics and told how to sing the song, she sings HER stuff, HER way. Dont get me wrong, I love Britney (not in the way most of the obessesive fans on this site do, but shes great!) but Avril deserves more respect than most people give her. She’s an artist, not a puppet!
