Lindsay Lohan recently purchased an apartment in New York’s new Atelier building, on West 42nd Street, but because developers want to put their name in the limelight, they decided to just give it to her for free.A source said:
She’s not buying or renting the apartment but she will probably start house hunting for her own place in Manhattan once she gets back from a three-month movie shoot in London.
Inside the condo’s mid-century decor, there is a gym, a sauna, an indoor pool, basketball and volleyball courts and a roof-top billiard lounge.
Whenever I hear about stories like this it makes me so angry. These stars don’t need to get ANYTHING for free let alone a condo in Manhattan. That’s absolutely ridiculous. There are millions of people in this country who are homeless, living in housing projects, renting because they can’t afford to own, or losing their homes because they can’t afford to pay their mortgage. And this girl who does absolutely nothing but get drunk off her face with her mother is being rewarded? Something is seriously wrong with our society when the same people who are giving Lohan a condo would never even think of developing a place for low income families to buy a place half the size of what Lohan is getting for free. Bastards!
