Well, the fact now remains that these childrens’ faces are so well-known that they are very vulnerable to kidnappers. I love what she is doing for these kids, giving them a better home, but it is sort of scary to see them on the cover of a magazine, poor babies.

Everyone wants to see Angelina, Brad and the kids. It’s much better to let a good magazine have the photos than the photographers who follow them around.

Frankly I thought the pictures in People mag of Pax & Maddox, in bed, asleep was totally child exploitation. There’s something not quite right with Ms Jolie. Some need she’s trying but not succeeding in filling. I’m not so sure these kids are actually better off.

yes, that’s right. angelina is all about helping kids. these kids are automatically much better off, because as we all know money alone is the most important thing in the world. besides, if you were her pubilicist wouldn’t you too push this whole wordly, maternal, humanitarian image as much as possible–that sells way more movie tickets than the homewrecking, incestuous, sadomasochistic bisexual image. come on people get a grip!

I think its definitely BETTER for the photos of Pax to be shown then have the hoards of paps trying to snap the money shot. Brad and Angelina both did the same for Shiloh. I don’t see anything wrong with the photo of the 2 boys asleep together. It is a tender shot, but not exploitative of the boys. They weren’t naked, in suggestive poses. For exploitative photos, you might try the photos of the 2 little girls in make up that Armani put out recently in Spain.

Although some people think Pax’s adoption is all about Angelina, Brad has repeatedly said that he wanted a soccer team of kids and no doubt, from what HE HAS SAID (as opposed to what the tablies and other people are saying), is fully into the adoption as Angelina is. I assume that both Brad and Angelina approved the photos to be taken and I think it is a good thing. I assume both Brad and Angelina have some need to be filled. So, if something is not quite right about Angelina, then something is not quite right about Brad - who incidentally, has always said he wanted LOTS OF CHILDREN - 7, in an interview early in his marriage to Jennifer Aniston. Angelina has said the same thing before she ever met Brad, but as a single mum, had said that may be, all she could cope with was about 3 children.

These children are going to be photographed whether they are being pushed in a pram or playing in the park or sitting in the car or what ever ordinary things children do with parents. Why should the paps make the money shot. If the photos are going to be taken anyway, then by all means, let the parents decide when and where the photos are taken, how much will be paid and where that money should go - charity.

None of us posters here know what it is to have the paps throw things at the car, climb onto the car to have a photo taken of us, as was reported to have happened in Vietnam. So, I say, let them manage a reality in their lives which neither you nor I have any clue about needing to manage, unless one of us gets involved in a huge scandal like Monica Lewinsky.

It’s too much, isn’t it? I was watching Best Week Ever and was glad when they said the very obvious; “What fun would saving the world be if there were no cameras around?” Angelina is starting to look like a attention seeking lunatic. I know for a fact she brings her own personal photographerS to the places she goes. They take pictures of her with the ’saved’ and sell them to the magazines. People can say anything they want, it doesn’t take away from the truth. The dumbest one I hear is when they say the only people that dislike Angie are middle-aged females that have been dumped for younger women. It goes to show how blind obsession can make a person. I’m a 20-year-old female myself, not even close to being middle-aged, and I think Angelina’s out of her mind. She doesn’t even take the time to get to know her newly adopted children when she’s already adopting another one.

Anyway, I’m sick of people calling her a ’saint’. I’m a Christian myself, and according to the Bible, Angie’s FAAAR from being a saint. Good works alone SAVE NO ONE! That’s according to the Bible. She’s living in sin, both her and Brad are adulterers now living together in abomination. She can ’save the world’ all she wants, she’s still spiritually dead.

Maybe she is just offering them up so that maybe the press wont be beating down her door for the first shots of the kids. And she is showing them together to show how happy and healthy the kids are so that no one will come back saying the kids are missed treated. These are the same pictures taht are in every magazine. How do we know the magazines didnt sell them to eachother how to we know she did it on her own? Either way she has top ranked security for these kids and has provided them a great home. Any kid is at danger for kidnapping no matter how publizied they are or how rich they are.

I read Brooke Shields’ book “Down Came the Rain” and in it she hid her daughter from rabid photographers but then staged her own photo shoot on her own terms in a comfortable location (their apartment I believe) so that everyone would stop trying to grab the first photo when she was walking down the street with her daughter.

If you ask me, the photo shoot that Angelina did with Pax (and also with Shiloh) was just a way to get the paparazzi to stop being so damn insane. Now the first official pictures are out there and you’ll note there haven’t been any new ones because she’s able to just relax and lie low now.

Also, a saint doesn’t have to mean biblical. Not everyone believes they will burn in hell or whatever because they don’t live according to the bible. I’m sure Angelina and Brad don’t really care if people want to quote bible passages about their “sinful” lives.

I find it funny you didn’t say any of that when Britney was selling pictures of her step kids to the media.

I think she’s doing the right thing…because if she doesn’t give any news about her children, paparazzi are just going to follow them around and stalk them. Better give it to prestigious magazine than trashy tabloids.

I’m not a huge fan of Angelina or Brad’s but it seems like they are in a Catch-22. If they don’t publish photos, then the paparazzi get even more aggressive than they already are of celebs. And if they do have a photo session with the kids so that they can get a little peace from the paparazzi, then they are exploiting them. My feeling is that as much as I like reading the “rags”, we’re the ones that are moving this and many other celebrity pictures because we want to see more of what is going on with their life. I personally feel that although it may look like they are exploiting them, they are probably just trying to keep their family as safe as possible and this is their way of dealing with it.

I don’t think is overexposing her children. She put these photos out so the paps wouldn’t stalk them for a money shot of the new little one, when she can put one out, and then donate the money to charity. And the magazine chose to put that photo on the cover, not Angelina. That same photo was a thumbnail in People magazine. We haven’t seen any new photos of Pax have we? That would be overexposure, if she would take him outside so the hoards of paps could follow their EVERY move. I think it was smart, now she won’t have a frenzy when they decide to do normal things you and I take for granted.

I agree with the writer. It’s as if they parade these children around like trophies. For those of you that praise Brad and Jolie; all the money in the world can’t buy parenting. They need to stay home and take care of these children, instead of a nanny.

I don’t have a problem with it. By selling a few photos, she is removing the high value pricetag that the paparazzi would get for the shots. This will defuse the photo frenzy and give the family a bit more peace.

You are really being overly critical. Celebrities, Politicians and Royalty are public figures. When they have children, there children become public figures as well. My god, Prince William recently broke up with his girlfriend and it was on CNN and the 10 o’clock news.

There are average americans posting their entire family photo albums on-line, and no one is interested. In london there is a picture and some made up story about the Posh and David every weeek. They are celebrities, it comes with the territory. We are facinated with their lives and lifestyle. Very few people can travel the world, and grad fashion. Most of us don’t have enought vacation to travel the world, not to mention resources and money. Therefore, we anxciously await the new adventure, of the rich, fabulou and famous.

Quite frankly, after watching that reality show with Aron Spelling’s brat and the othe two guys, who parents are also famous and rich, run around L.A. living like directionless loosers who are starving to be on the covers magazines, I thought wow, they a trying to hard. Angelina and Brad are just living their lives and it’s fascinating.

Maybe, if the Jolie-Pitt family were not so gorgeous we wouldn’tbe so interested in them. I also love that they hold their children in their arms. That builds a close connection. Craddling them and carrying them builds a bond between them and the children. Holding and kissing a child during their adelescents builds trust, a psychological connection and a maternal/perternal bond. Most people don’t realize that the bond between a child and birth mother happens after birth. The mother may be attached to the child at birth, but the child only builds an attachment through the parents coddling and nurtuing the child. It’s fascinating to watch it happen before us. We watched Zahara latch on and become attached emotionally. When I first began observing Maddox he was already attached to Angelina. I have yet to see Shilou latch on. Even in the pictures of her and Brad on the set, she appeared distant and irresponsive. I hope she dosn’t have autism. Now, we are watching Pax latch on and become attached, and apart of to the family. It’s fasinating.

Pay attention… this picture is from the ONLY photo shoot that Angelina has authorized since Pax’s adoption. She authorized ONE photo shoot after Shiloh was born. The only people overexposing these babies are the media/paparazzi who stalk the family going to daycare, in their backyard, at the park and rag sites like this one that carry those pictures. I suppose Angelina should make all the kids wear veils like Michael Jackson’s kids, huh?

As a nurse Shiloh does have a look of some possible autistic demeanors in the few photos I’ve seen. I’ve never seen one photo of her smiling.
At any rate, she appears to need to be strongly nurtured and attended to in order to help her bond and connect with the a main caretaker and the world with good support around her.

I can’t see how a mom who runs from film to film, country to country and has so many older kids can be a good solid person of consistent care for this child who appears to have ’special needs’ to help her connect and bond.

I have yet to see a problem with how the Jolie-Pitts are living. Can someone tell me what is SO wrong with them other than the fact that idiotic ‘Friends’ fans are still pissed about the affair? It’s water under the bridge for everyone who was ACTUALLY involved so why should we care about who shagging who? I like seeing pictures of their family. I’m a bit late on this thread but I have to say- I don’t think there was anything racist in Danny’s comments at all. In fact, I suspect that Danny, like me, is black and is frustrated as all hell at seeing how painfully obvious it is that the Jolie-Pitts don’t know what to do with little Z’s hair.

I don’t think he meant her hair looked ‘awful’ as in it’s black hair and there’s something wrong with it. But it is awful in that it never looks properly styled or even cared for (e.g. black hair in its natural state needs way more moisture than other race’s hair) and why should a pretty little girl be subjected to that? They need to find a nice black woman who can cornrow the child’s hair once a week or something.

First, unless the Pitts are going to cover their children’s faces like Michael Jackson every time they go out, I cannot see how they can avoid the 24/7 papparazzi coverage.
