Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet To Reunite in Sam Mendes Film

The stars who played ill-fated lovers in 1997’s “Titanic” are reuniting for DreamWorks’ “Revolutionary Road,” to be directed by Winslet’s husband, Sam Mendes (”American Beauty”).

The film is inspired by Richard Yates’ 1961 novel about April and Frank Wheeler, a well-off but disillusioned Connecticut couple who try to fulfill their artistic longings by moving to France. Screenwriter Justin Haythe (”The Clearing”) adapted Yates’ novel.

“This is an extraordinary combination of three very special talents who represent the best in motion pictures. We are very fortunate to bring Leo, Kate and Sam together to tell a story that can reflect the excellence that audiences around the world expect of them,” said Adam Goodman, president of production at DreamWorks.

hi.. i hope there are lot of movies casting leo and kate together not only titanic and revolutionary road but a lot of films to come. thnx for making new movie for them.. i hope that there is love and action movie casting them again.. i hope on that movie leo will shave his beard and kate would take back her long and reddish hair like on titanic movie. i hope that really so soon.. i hope that directors will make not only a 2008-2009 reunite movie for them but on more years to come from 2010 above.. hope directors reading this.
