People reports that when Britney Spears is not stepping out from rehab, it seems like she’s in there shopping online. Over the weekend, Spears, who checked into Promises treatment center in Malibu last Thursday, went on an online shopping spree at Intuition, an L.A. fashion boutique and one of her favorite haunts (check out her previous visit here).Among the four large shopping bags of loot, PEOPLE has learned, was a pair of red Denim of Virtue skinny jeans, $170, a lavender halter dress by Tart ($200), a Rich and Skinny miniskirt, $145, and a Rory Beca silk tunic dress, $215. Since Spears couldn’t pick up the clothes herself, her mom, Lynne, did the honors and dropped the bags off during one of her visits. We guess it’s part of Brit’s retail therapy.

As you all know, it’s not really me - it’s the damn media - they are the ones that made me a bad mother and a crazy person who shaves off her hair (in the Valley!) and keeps checking in and out of rehab (they don’t let me drink here - and they call this a “vacation” - where’s my mini-bar, Promises?). Anyway, while shopping for some ugly ass clothing that probably won’t fit by fat ass, I decided to thank you all for supporting me. I also want to remind you all to renew your fan club memberships. As I haven’t been earning any income while in this joint (and I have two kids to support), you’ll understand that the rates have been raised. I mean, I can’t afford $10,000 a week in rehab for nothing. Plus, I had to go and rent out all these other rooms, which ended up being like another $40,000 and I still owe my dealer money from before…

It’s nice to see Britney doing something positive and I think her focus should be on her rehab and not a “shout out” to her fans doing this time.
There’s a time and place for her reconnecting with her fans but her health and her family is more important right now and when she is ready she will let us know. In the mean time the paps are keeping her fans abreast with her movements.
