Patrick Dempsey, who plays Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd on Grey’s Anatomy, proudly shows his twin sons Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen to the world. The boys were born Feb. 1 at an L.A.-area hospital, and Dempsey says his role on the TV show helped him during the birth (he cut the umbilical cords of both boys):
I was watching everything that was going on (with the doctors), and you see a lot of that in the show.
Meanwhile, their big 5 year old sister, Talula Fyfe, helped to chose the boys’ names and is “very excited and very good about taking care of her brothers.” Can I get a collective, “Awwwww”?
