I’m not surprised. I was waiting to hear about the split for a while since I haven’t seen them together at many of the award events and premiers Beyonce has been going to for Dreamgirls. I also thought that it was the other way around. That Beyonce wanted to settle down and Jay-Z was playing the field (the rumors that he had an affair with Rihanna, etc.). But it makes sense that Beyonce’s family (especailly crazy Papa Knowles) would not want their baby girl to get married. She’s their cash cow and she’s a pop singer (much like Britney Spears)…she makes money off of her sex-kitten looks. Other than that she doesn’t have much substance (there are better singers and Beyonce is not a good actress). So if Beyonce were to get married and get pregnant, she can say good-bye to her body and the possibility of ever being in a swimsuit again.
